I have so much respect for this guy. Not only did he save more lives by tackling the shooter to the ground, he also had to witness the death of his sister, and still be ok to represent his family at the vigil. I'm still not over this and I never even met her.

my dad passed away it was hard ...we knew it was his last day on this earth ..we talked about him we laughed and cried and theres a point in which u need to act normal or else u go crazy but theres days that are hard and days that aren't..you cannot say someone isn't suffering when u see them laughing or able to compose themselves...its hard but memories Give u strenght..its my dads bday today..i miss him i cried its going to be a yr since his death and i want him here...so dont u dare say he isn't suffering because i guarantee u he is suffering and playing back what happened that day and if he was closer to her could he have for seen it..its his lil sis and he couldn't save her that shit will eat at u even though it wasn't his fault..the what if is a haunting one but she believed in god and so does he and that is what gives him strenght.

They were very close and he was upset about it, but he didn't cry at all and he stood up and talked in front of everyone just like Christina's brother did. If you didn't know any better and it wasn't at a funeral, you would have never known based on how he acted that someone died.

Sometimes laughter is just a way to relieve grief. When Marcus said "and she loved me" he probably remembered them as kids.
It took me over a week to register a death in the family. All my emotions were just shut off. He's probably in major shock, he saw her get murdered right infront of him, and he tackled the shooter. What did you all want? A sob fest? Would you have said he's overdoing it and should man up then? You all are never satisfied. People deal with emotions in different ways.
Can people please stop commenting on the fact that he is an actor because he isn't crying or fainting. People present grief in very different ways and you can clearly see that he is very unwell, gaunt and drained. You can see the hurt in his eyes. It doesn't take a genius to see that. Please stop talking about how fake this is. This is a man who has lost his little sister. This is a tragedy. What happened here was EXTREMELY REAL! she was shot in cold blood by someone with malicious intent, no denying it. Weather hired or just insane she died. Her family need time to grieve and don't need people calling it fake. Giving anyone false hope that she is alive is the cruelest act I could imagine! not that they would but if you plant a seed it will surely grow. grief does strange things to the mind and they just don't need added stress.
Her brother is a hero, he saved other's from being killed and for people to call him out like that disgusts me. If you don't like the brother for some reason then keep it to yourselves. This is not the time nor the place.

See a lot of people judging him for not reacting the way they want him to. Everyone handles it differently. I acted the same way when my mother passed. Cool and collected and i put on a brave face for my family. But behind closed doors i was a mess and cried myself to sleep for almost 2 years. It will be 4 years this November since i have lost her and i am still grieving. Do not attack him because he feels he has to be strong for himself and the ones he loves, i know his hurt.
My heart is aching for her loved ones, family and friends. I began watching her when she was only 14 and I feel so lucky to have been able to meet her a few years back.
I loved how he said "my P2". I also remember seeing when Marcus and Christina got matching tattoos that say P1 & P2. I will never forget the goodness she gave to her fans, faith, friends and everyone she met.

God Bless Christina's brother. He is there for his baby sisters vigil, has stepped up to represent his family, thank his sister's fans and also to honor the lives that were lost in Orlando and to ask for people to Show Love.

I’m sure Christina’s passing took a toll on her moms health, but to know that her mom got to reunite with Christina in heaven , brings me such a bittersweet comfort . the paris shooting was done by isis,a terrorist group to whom gun laws don't matter. this was done by a civilian,who bought a legal gun to commit this crime,let me tell you a fact.9000+ people have died last year alone in the US due to firearms while countries with stricter gun laws like australia,spain,germany,wales,finland have had lesser than 100-200 deaths.look at that difference.it's outrageous.of course the motive of the person is what drives him but it would be so much more difficult to kill without guns,do you think 1 person could have killed 49 people in orlando that night if he wasn't having a gun? there is absolutely no way,and i don't understand how a person with a violent background can buy assault rifles like buying veggies from a grocery store. it's no joke,the US has to sort this out,guns are clearly the root problem.

Why are people being so harsh? Instead of judging him for looking "happy" why not commend his strength in being able to compose himself and speak on the behalf of his sister's love for her community and the gratitude he feels for everyone's thoughts. He didn't have to say anything. He's doing it because he genuinely cares that people care and he knows his sister was a loving and caring person as well. This man will continue to grieve for the rest of his life but with that will come moments when he is at peace/acceptance with what has happened. Instead of judging try praying for him and all of those impacted and if you don't pray at least be human enough to be kind and understanding.

Then quickly click back & forth Play/Pause and in between 8:31 - 8:32, look at the big dude in the back far right of the screen. The only time I've ever seen eyes like his, was on the television show "Supernatural". Check it out. It's ridiculous that not one of her close family members or close friends have shed one tear in any video footage after her death. They actually seem quite elated. Check that out too, unless you already have noticed that.

the laughter was not out of ill will. He laughed because the brother said "she loved me," which could seem like an intended joke (would have been in any other scenario), so he laughed because he thought it was intended to be a joke, but held back when he realized it was not and that it was inappropriate for the situation

Marcus really handled it well. I dont even know if i've been holding together as well as him the past couple days and i've only talked to her on League of Legends on her Twitch stream a couple times :D. Will never forget her, she was always more than JUST music to me. Really cool person that did what she wanted and didn't care about the "norm". That's what made her so awesome.

I went to The Plaza Live and visited the scene to pay my respects and prayers. I also saw all of her warm wishes deteriorating so I took the Zelda stuffed animal back home to New Jersey that was left on the ground next to wilted flowers. The toy would have ended up being thrown at, from one fan to another its safe now. RIP
This kid has some serious strength... after all he went through in the past week, he still has the energy to do this... I admire him so much, my thoughts are with him and his family... I miss you Christina, rest in peace.

If you look closely you can see people laughing, It's like they know this guy's a crisis actor.
He is at peace because he knows where she is at right now. There is sadness yes, but he has a job to do... unfortunately his loss is also the publics loss and he is the spokesman to comfort them and let them know that all is well with the family. It is not fake and his courage and strength to push forward for the fans is amazing. My husband's father passed away suddenly and my husband (a pastor) responded the same way. At home he would cry in my arms and mourned for his father but for the members, friends, and family he put on a brave face and preached the gospel at his father's funeral. He knew ultimately that his father is in heaven which gave him a peace that surpassed understanding. God's word instilled in him a peace so he could face everyone and have his heart be at peace.
He lost his sister and his mother in the phase of 2 years. 😪♥️
