"more recent: Khadgar..." Just FYI: Khadgar exists in WoW since TBC (donning a beard - which I miss, IMO) and exists in lore since at least Warcraft 2 :)
I do NOT like the Naaru and personally see them as false gods who abuse the power of The Light for their own nefarious wants and needs. I've played Warcraft since 1995 and do not like all additions to WoW, and especially not what TBC brought (though I'm aware Metzen basically apologized for that brainfart) - neither wind-chime nor spacegoat. I'm a sucker for Humans and especially Paladins (I'm a Pally main, how could you tell!) since I like playing the goody-two-shoes 😋 I am hoping they do not push the Naaru to the forefront of the coming expansion and bring something new to the table - something better than the last three expansions.
Naaru are literally beings of light, they are a physical form the Light takes. What they are pushing for is the Light isn't perfect. That like any belief people have they believe is good can fall to zealotry. Yrel is genociding whole races in the name of the Light. Lore added almost 20 years ago is not new. Stories evolve.
TBC was crazy, I do hold a special place in my heart for the Naaru. While I do feel the Naaru will have some story beats the actual zone of Hallowfall to me seems to be a chance to see that the Scarlet Crusade could have been, without the influence of a Dreadlord. This I am so excited for, also airships and holy knights!
Happy New year everyone!!!❤
Thanks friend:D
Happy new year right back to you!
One of my favorite humans is Rhonin, the rogue wizard turned Archmage.
He had a raptor army you know!
Rhonin was great, a lot of the Kirin Tor and Dalaran mages are really well done, one of my favs is still Kel'thuzad
@@thecosycampfire The true architect of the Scourge. Shame he became a puppet for so many.
@@bonefetcherbrimley7740 that was awesome and I regret that there aren’t more references to Day of the Dragon around Khaz Modan.

Though story-wise, he has become much more prominent in later expansions.
Just a neat tidbit.
You are exactly right, I did mean he got some more story focus, let's hope he re grows that beard one day.
