    My family and I just discovered your channel the other day and now we can't stop watching it. You guys find some of the most beautiful rocks we've ever seen. I once applied for a job at Dalhousie, but didn't get it. I was sad at the time, but this makes me regret it so much more. If we could, we'd be out there searching just like you are.

    Hello fellas
    I cannot believe every video I watch the agates you find. They are so amazing. I only hope one day I will find a few. The rivers I've looked at haven't been prosperous so this next year I'm heading down south Alberta and see what is insome rivers there. Thanks for the great trip.

    I am fascinated by what you and your boys find while rock hounding. Makes me wonder if there are minimal deposits such as those near where I live. How would I find out? I’d love to find some petrified wood. I live near the American River in Sacramento, CA

      Northern California from what I've seen is a great spot to rockhound. Lots of awesome jasper agate. Do you watch Quest For Details channel? He finds awesome stuff in northern Cali. I think I saw him hunting for petrified wood. There is a petrified forest somewhere in northern Cali.

    I wish I could send you a picture. On my rock hunt this morning I found some very interesting rocks. Some are all a mint green but not consistent of your average rock material then the others are light purple with mint green growing on them. They have a touch of agate material lines on them. Have no idea what they are. Then something that mimics a seam agate. Would love if I could get your opinion. Great video btw! Thank you for sharing!

    Man that definitely would be a spectacular day trip out there. You found so much cool stuff, love those two agates at 3:29 and 3:47. It actually looks like there may be another agate under those small rocks to the left of the one you were holding. Not sure if you saw that. Anyways all that Jasper and petrified wood.. well everything were great finds. Thanks for the share.

    Glad that you mentioned it is illegal in Nova Scotia to pick at the cliffs with a hammer or chisel etc. Very poor form for those who do this, as it deprives the rest of us the chance to enjoy them.

    • @RockhoundingLife
      @RockhoundingLife  4 года назад

      Yes. I remember going to Ross Creek years and years ago and being able to see the amethyst in the outcrops containing the fossils. This year I didn’t see any. And most of the trees still in the bed rock were hacked away.
