Hi JP. We loved your tour of Ireland. It was full of interesting sights, facts and people. My wife and I visited the caravan and camping club site at Glenco last year and were privileged to collect a few ferns to fashion a reef and place it on the ruins of a cottage where 5 people were massacred at the Glenco massacre just a short walk from the site. It has 5 mature trees planted to commemorate their lives. The full story is on display at the Glenco visitor centre just outside the camp site. On your way back from you adventures you might enjoy a visit there

That Loch Lomond road is a nerve racking drive.I was in my Vauxhall Agila and had my eyes shut most of the time.😊 Fantastic scenery though and you are going to love all the wildlife too.Away to bing watch your Ireland trip.

Just a quick line to sympathise with your journey along lock Lomand we picked up a broken caravan window in a little nudge from a lorry wing mirror on our way back. It was soon fixed but it is a very tricky road

Just left after spending 3 days there.

I know that was a hairy trip but it was funny,"breath in Glady's", little scream when the big red truck was coming at you. The drive in Scotland was really beautiful, it did something to my heart. Ha ha when you got your Whiskey and said "I love you" and Sammie goes,"I know your talking to the Whiskey. Be safe up there.

Unfortunately the height barriers are there for a reason, to stop the travellers moving in, the councils really should cater more for motorhomes though, maybe a barrier and ticket system would work. Glad you enjoyed Ireland though, there's plenty more to see, hopefully you will be back next year.

Hiya, ahh I knew you were going there 🤭 My heart sang when I saw the bridge to what used to be our home 🥰 Sorry the weather is so rubbish for you, hopefully it’ll settle, but as you know, it can be 4 seasons all in one day 😊 Look on the bright side the wind will keep the midgies away😅 I hate that section of road, they have made it a bit wider in places, but it’s still not an easy drive when you have HGVs & coaches hurtling towards you with nowhere to budge over to 😱 Have the most amazing time you three, I’m looking forward to watching your Outer Hebs adventures. Gosh, this takes me back a few years, to when I was up there & visited Skye & Uig. There's a lot if "Plumbs" up there, that don't slow down, or pull over in the passing spaces & then expect you to move, or hover so they can pass🙄🤦♀️🤬 I don't see how remote areas can ever be cashless, because they don't have the coverage. There was panic a while back when the supermarkets, banks & NHS were all hit & people couldn't get money out of the ATM's & the supermarkets were only taking cash!! Its all wonderful until we start having the power cuts they keep threatening .....to save energy of course😏🙄 It was a nightmare all round, because they had to resort back to notes, pen & paper🤯 I must confess, I wasn't watching you, but watching Sammie, doing her sign language to Raven in the background😂😂😂 Mummy he wanted a wee🤷♀️😂😂 Looking forward to our trip round the Highlands & Islands with you all.....hope the weather improves, but up there it changes like......well the weather 🤷♀️😂😂
Madness driving eh! 🤦 cashless is another way of controlling the people they can switch us off at anytime! 😡 we have taught Raven a few hand signals and Sammie knows sign language as she used to be a key worker for a deaf child, it’s very handy that literally 😂 x thanks for watching hun! X 🤗❤️

They already have powers to check pensioners/benefit bank accounts to see how much people have got & what they are spending their money on. George Orwell was way ahead of his time😱 Same with smart meters! My friend is really struggling & if she's late paying her bills, they just cut her off! She's a nurse & has children too, but they don't care! My dog knows a few hand signals & I went to evening classes, many years ago, to learn sign language. We all had such a laugh in the class. I hardly use it now, but it occasionally comes in handy & I have helped out a few deaf people, who have been struggling communicating, when out & about. It comes in handy 🙄🤦♀️😂😂

The reason unfortunately for the 2m barriers at all public car parks and spaces to to stop the "travellers" from taking over same permanently. England is not the only country with problems with so called travellers or as you would say Pikies (not sure about the spelling) ☘️☘️

Just found out how expensive those mirrors are, I had the casing smashed the first time. In Speen Bridge two MoHo’s came the other way, I pulled over to my left as far as I could, the fist MoHo went by no problem, but the second one (a hire MoHo) smashed my mirror casing. They didn’t stop of course, I did a temporary tape repair to keep me going, when I got home I bought a new mirror shell and did a glue and plastic weld on the couple of bits inside that got cracked. But last week it was going round a left hand bend and a transition van came the other way well over the white line, bang busted mirror. The internals are beyond repair this time. A new Fiat mirror £439-63, I’m going for a pattern part one it’s still £164-13, but with my luck I’d fit the £400 one and get it knocked off again.

Get mirror guards Charlie, they will save you a fortune! Hire mohos should come with a flippin lesson I had one do that to me but I had my mirror guards on theirs disintegrated mine had a little scratch lol 😂 it’s worth the money to protect them trust me! X ❤️🤗
@@JPLamoureuxsTravels Milenco ones are on order, they would have saved the mirror the first time, but this time my epoxy glue and plastic welding with a soldering iron broke out with the bang. I had to drive about a mile leaning out holding the two mirrors that were dangling on the heater wires before I could stop and tape them in. The small blind spot one had the motor assembly still clipped on the back. I wasn’t happy, fortunately were were only 25 miles from home.
We were in Scotland three weeks ago it was beautiful looks like same journey your taking

I’ve been on the Uig site several times, it’s really convenient for the ferry. If it’s the same owner ,he was from Sheffield. Looking forward to your adventures around the Outer Hebrides, it’s one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland.

The problem with park ups out west is repeated with long distance walks The lung and lough Gara way pass across our bog and look like a cracking two to 5 day walk but nowhere you can camp unless you risk pissing off a landowner.
Hope to you next year , either in Eiré or maybe on The Wrekin.

The more tubers that highlight the appalling facilities on the WAW the better, the irish tourist board want sacking, I live in the west and have my own places to park up, galway is especially bad...

Aye it could be made so much better so easily the Irish tourism board do pretty much nothing to improve it from what I saw and the councils just do as they please to keep vanners out, don’t get me wrong we stuck to sites and drove about a lot and had a great time visiting friends but we had that time to spare, if you wanted to do a couple of weeks around it I think you would find it difficult if you couldn’t find campsites… thanks for watching ! 🤗
