Well PM7005 looks on the outside like the PM6005 so i matches well. The PM7005 and the CD6005 works very well together. As good as with Pm6005. The remote Control of PM7005 also works with the CD6005 so you only need one. The sound is Amazing so i am 100% satisfied with my buy. I can recommend it
i got a month ago the BX2 and just are awesome , the cabinet is rigid as hell, the sound very defined and even is a thing that i have to say, even with music with lot of instruments the voice keeps legible do not get out of focus about the bass is fine althought i have the bass managenment to the subwoofer and well trebles and fine details are played with precision just was the best decision,

yeah, its caused by the harddome tweeter... its pretty normal cause the are not able to flex the dome like soft dome tweeter. so it sound pretty harsh, but it is very precise and dosnt fake the sound as much as soft dome tweeter would. Yiu can get used to it and proberbly will never go back to soft dome! ;)

Buyer beware! I just wore in my set and it was excruciating. Out of the box they sounded horrible, but somewhere near thirty hours the mid range and highs began to smooth. I'm over fifty hours now and they sound incredible. Just understand you must wear them in to sound good. I notified Monitor Audio and they said 25-40 hours, but they also sell a CD that will do the job quicker.
It depends of how many bass you like. For me its far enough and here BX2s does their job. For rock, metal, and so on bass is perfect, but for breaks, electro and dnb additional subwoofer would be a perfect solution, but like I've said - it depends.

I would be putting these on my entertainment center next to my TV(these are front ported, so am thinking that they should be ok with being few inches away from the back wall) and would using it mostly for music(all range) and some movies as well. I have an Yamaha RX-V867. Do you think it would be a good match?
You might need to wear them in for 24-40 hours of playing music they will soften up and sound better, someone mentioned after 50 hours he'd broke them in and sounded incredible! also check your speaker wire, audio source and amp.. could be one of those also.

I think is important what you are using to record the sound. The bitrate plays second role here. I guess it's better to record sound with prosumer microphone (then uploading at @480p) than with built in smartphone mic (and uploading at @1080p). Here you have the prosumer mic and 1080p so I guess it's still the best sound comparison on YT of these pieces.

W zasadzie bez rewelacji. To mój pierwszy DAC więc na dobrą sprawę nie wiedziałem czego się po nim spodziewać. Generalnie to sprawa wygląda tak, że przed puszczeniem sygnału na DAC słychać głośny szum (z głosników), który jednak po włączeniu jakiegokolwiek dźwięku znika i później się nie pojawia, więc to nie przeszkadza. Nie wiem czy każdy z DACów tak ma, ale ten na pewno ;). Mam nadzieję że pomogłem.
You cant judge speakers by watching video clips.These speakers will sound great with anything you give it.But if your only useing mp3s with them your wasting your money.
I didnt like marantz. not enough detail in the music and the bx2's sound boomy depending on where you are in the room. Sitting facing is good but elsewhere you can hear booming
I would like to remember you that for a perfect sound test you shoul listen with bass and trebles totally flat on the amplifier ... and it seems to me you put the bass knob and the treble knob at +2 position , didnt' you ? by this way it comes out a terrible sound...
I have to replace the tweeter from one of the speakers. It doesn't play as loud as the other one and it ruins the stereo imaging. Did anyone have the same problem?

Sorry but I just can't see the point of video's like this, viewers have no sense of what the amp or speakers sound like in real like, the limitations of the camera making the recording, RUclips's compression then a viewer watches / listens on a laptop with speakers the size of a ten penny piece....more useful would have been some discussion about the pro's and con's of the equipment.

Ordered the Marantz Pm7005 and CD6005 today🙏 Got Klipsch RF 82 waiting here😉 Love Marantz!! Had my first Marantz stereo back in the mid 80s.

Sounds little harsh, maybe its the mic but i can feel the Bass. Im sure there are other speakers such as BA A25 , or the MA MASS .

Got a similar setup a couple days ago, they sound harsh, no mid, just treble and deep bass, no good for spoken words or vocals.

You ought to isolate the speakers by mounting them on some solid stands to improve their quality.
Can you comment on bass? Seems like Marantz doesn't have a low punchy bass esp. compared to NAD or Harman Kardon.
Tweeters are gold, midrange speakers cones are black. No gray, silver nor white O.o
