I loved this video and have the same thoughts about things. I spend waaaay too much time on my phone or laptop. I use it to check something but often completely forget as soon as I pick my phone up and spend the next hour scrolling facebook before realising 😟 my kids have been asking me to play a lot more and I keep saying we'll do that tomorrow and then I forget. I always feel so bad! But just keep forgetting so my goal is to stop saying no or "tomorrow" as much as I have been and just get on the floor with them.

I love the Chosen! Jonathan Roumie plays Jesus so well! And I completely understand wanting to declutter and live more minimally. After we put the Christmas decor away I told my husband I loved how simple the house felt. I put out a few spring pieces I already had and definitely don’t need to buy anymore. Just wanna be happy with what I’ve got ❤️
I loved this video! It’s nice to hear you reflect, and share the ways you’re implementing more intention into your parenting and days. It’s inspiring and also relatable! I can definitely relate to not being present with my kids and then feeling so icky at the end of the day. Or spending too much time on my phone and not tending to real life and then feeling icky! Just have to constantly be reflecting and making those shifts to actually be living the life we want to be living, and the life we try and display to others. Also, just thought I’d share this C.S. Lewis quote: “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” And boy does that hit! Blessings to you and your family!
Your goals are very similar to mine. Declutter, staying organized, using up all the existing products in my home before purchasing more, being more patient and present with my children, being consistent in my spirituality, less screen time. We got this 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Love how honest you are about your faith. It was edifying for my own life of faith. I have slacked off on bible studying, and I want to make more effort this year as well. Recently when you said how you eat standing in the kitchen I felt so sorry for you, it seemed so uncomfortable. Happy you can now eat true family dinners at a nice table. Expecting my first baby around Easter 🐣and having become an involuntary pet owner by chance, my goals for 2024 are just adjusting and surviving 😄 I've lived alone for the past half of my life...

My grandma also had the picture of the man praying over his bread. I have a lot of the same resolutions. But I have to stop myself from thrifting so much lol. Great way to save money though if you have good self control and decently priced thrift stores.
