    Love those TIRES 👍

    • @ZippoVarga
      @ZippoVarga  Год назад

      These particular tires are no longer available unfortunately. Best advice I can offer is to search for 26x12x12 turf tires and you'll also need 12x10" wheels or 12x12" wheels with the proper backspacing for your application. These tires are mounted to 12x10" rims which gives the tire more of a crown than the 12x12" rims would. So choose carefully when shopping. Good luck Skippy! Zip~

    I am happy you lift the opposite side of the tractor to drain the oil I do that. I wished he newer machines had drain plugs (my 36 year old JD it is newer LOL). I had not thought to reface the set screws Thanks a lot sir.

    Ahh this brings back some memories from yesteryear. Pico-Pay toothpaste and Brylcream comes to mind along with Burma Shave. A little dab will do ya. Very cool tractor for sure. Thanks for the video.

    I don’t own a Simplicity however, your discussion on oiling and lubricating can be applied to any garden or lawn tractor, or for that matter, to any small engine-driven implement. Always good to know!

    I had to stop about 2/3rds of the way through to comment, as you were commenting to yourself about repeating it. 😁
    Great video as always Sean!
    I hope your back is feeling better, I like seeing the shop and projects. But your health should always be first, we'll gladly wait when you need to rest.
    I know I owe you a few emails, chatting about current life. I sent a couple a long while back, but I think I hit an old email address or they were lost in transit.
    Life for me has been crazy busy, but I always enjoy the videos. I know I have seen similar Simplicity general maintenance videos from you before, I believe one of my favs was a buyer's guide 3ish part series, but I always enjoy the newer videos too, even if the subject is a repeat. The video qualify improves.
    👍
    Cheers
    Sean
    Now back to the video.

    Excellent tutorial on lubing on either non detergent or detergent tractors. I am so guilty of not lubing but plan to do better and go over mine. And I will definitely be revisiting the poor man's power steering video. You forgot to post the link but no big deal I can find it with search on your home page. Thanks Zip!

    Behind the back left wheel is a clutch that runs the mower , but I can’t find any adjustments. The mower blades don’t turn fully. The clutch is not turning full force.

  • @JRCreations92

    I just picked up a 66 B-12, it came with hydro lift, does the hydro lift control the height of the mower deck also? I noticed it doesn’t have a deck lever like a regular mower

  • @minerfarmer

    I have learned a lot from your videos. I have a B12 that smokes and uses oil. Cylinder looks good. Would like to put .010 over rings in it and set ring gap but can't find any. Do you know of a source for parts for 12 hp briggs. Watched your video of sandblasted 12 hp rebuild but could only find one episode.

    • @ZippoVarga
      @ZippoVarga  3 года назад

      A good engine machine shop can help you source rings miner. Be sure to hone the cylinder and don't get Chrome rings no matter who suggests them. They won't bed properly because they're much harder than the cast iron

    • @minerfarmer
      @minerfarmer 3 года назад

      Thank you. I have a local parts store with a machine shop. I will check with them.

    The second tractor you showed, is the pto clutch adjustable? Thanks so much.

    • @ZippoVarga
      @ZippoVarga  3 года назад

      I'm a bit confused with your question William. By PTO Clutch, do you mean the mid mount PTO? If so, there's no clutch involved there. It's all mechanical with pulleys and an idler pulley that engages the implement when the lever is depressed. Can you be more specific? Zip~

    • @williamwilliams3200
      @williamwilliams3200 3 года назад

      I think I should have replied here. There is a clutch behind the back left wheel. It powers the mower blades,but doesn’t spin blades fully.

    • @ZippoVarga
      @ZippoVarga  3 года назад

      @@williamwilliams3200 My email is in the description below the video. Email me with photos of what you're talking about please. There is a rear PTO, but it's for running rear mounted implements like a tiller or a generator. Zip~
