Note: private Hospital should be decide by their own willingness and selection. Up to 2016, when i was worked in Abroad, My company provided insurance card with hospitality proviness, and clearly mentioned atleast 2 Private Hospital. One is available nearest our company, by splitting we will get all over main city Branches with easily. Second one Medium based hospitality provision, we should get by searching,but not like first priority one, But super system. India Having many insurance/link Hospitality But people doesnt have proper Idea about that, Every Indivudual citizen must know this process, Better ask village V.O/RA/REVENUE/POSTAL/EC/PWD Many Departments are there if we approach friendly they are ready to clarify with us, solve the unique suggestion which we except .

Actually once I admitted in hospital for numbness in hands, leg and face... I had corporate insurance and I underwent all the test for stroke symptom and heart problems... All test result came as no issue but I was suffering anxiety due to this symptom.. on discharge date the claim was rejected by insurance company doctors stating the patient test result showing no major symptom so the patient should have treated as out patient not admitted... I'm already suffering from stress was more severe now and I paid the bill from my pocket... and I chased the claim for 9 months and got full claim.. but I have to work lot for that
Very nice information, I had my own experience that, I have already informed that surgery amount will be around 2,00,000/-, and star health insurance coverage is available and will be getting 80% claim, so they asked me to pay 20,000/- alone. After that while discharge while closing of accounts, I have sanctioned of 65% only, I was very much upset for arranging amount of 30,000/- more. So always have quite sizeable amount to come out smoothly from hospital. This is my experience 🙏🙏

One of my friends got admitted in the hospital for 2 days and did so many tests in Vijaya Hospital, Chennai but Star Health insurance didn't settle a single amount after 2 days the reason for what they said is No operation and no treatment is involved. So no claim.

If hospital not in tie up also we can do reimbursement, but it's exception for star health
I can see many complaints regards to cliam with Star insurance.
