Two years ago today - A 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐫𝐚 of Tennessee Football January 27, 2021 - The University of Tennessee announces the hiring of Josh Heupel, the 27th head football coach of the Tennessee Volunteers.
Heck yeah ... as a 52 year old fan ... Heupel bringing us back and hopefully further than we have been in my lifetime (multiple championships). 2023 will be interesting .. 2024 will be exciting. Let's Go ... BIG ... Orange !!!
I was lucky enough to be able to see the Bama win with my own two eyes. I'll never forget the roller coaster of emotions the game took me through from the unbelievable first quarter start to watching that knuckle ball kick go through the uprights. I was sitting on the same side that McGrath was kicking into, and from our angle it was hard to tell if it would have enough. It's a moment I'll never forget. I woke up that morning and said to myself, "It feels like we're going to win..". A wonderful memory created by an amazing team, and I can't thank them enough. GBO!!
Watching that 40-13 win over LSU was an awesome way to spend my birthday. Let’s do it all and more again next year Vols!
