When comparing our Vikings quarterback options , let's also consider the durability of the quarterback. I think it's absolutely amazing that Darnold never had to leave a game because of injury !

I meniscus isn’t a big injury even tho it can take you out for a year fixed correctly it’s all good, coming from someone who had it and had to get surgery too they made me walk it off and I played the next season and I was 300+ moving the next year with ease like it never happened he will be good
Plus jj is cheaper and we can build around him heavily more then darnold and paying him would be a waste money wise to the team no offense to him
If Darnold could win in January and possibly February the way he did in the regular season, I'd be happy to keep him. As it is, let the JJ9 era begin!

Sam Darnold and the Vikings kept fans on the edge of their seats throughout the 2024 season, with their extremely high quality of play. Darnold was a proven crowd pleaser and top competitor until going up against the lions for their second matchup and twice against the rams. Coaches can come up with strategies to bring about upsets too ! I believe , in these particular games, a couple of things happened that could cause any quarterback to lose their dominant performance . First of all, the Vikings were out- coached and , secondly, the offensive line was not able to give Sam Darnold the protection that he needed. So, instead of giving Sam a second chance, we're ready to let him walk, in hopes of having enough money to spend on other players and hoping that our unproven quarterback of the future can repeat what Sam Darnold was able to accomplish and be the answer to our future hopes. I hope we will realize our hopes and things will work in our favor ; but I vote against replacing Sam because of what he has shown us. 😊
I've said that very same thing and people all think it was Sam's fault I saw him get constantly pressured up the middle and that would ruin any quarterbacks play also these long developing plays that take 5 seconds to get Jettas or Addison open were good for games that people weren't expecting the lions and rams literally practiced all week long on getting off the ball quickly and using man coverage and without a quick pass game installed we couldn't do anything against it except run slants and pound the rock more
He hasn’t proved shit even case Keenum had a good season… if he had another good season, that’s called a prove it season.. if I were a coach of a random football team, his contract would be full of incentives and not guaranteed money… we are committed to JJ McCarthy we are sticking to KAMs plan in KAM we trust 🙏 SKOL

Because this channel has been trying to start a JJ trade. Nothing positive on JJ from this channel except for the sammy donald hype.
I do disagree about that "QB on a rookie contract" thing. If it's this biggest advantage in the NFL, why has it only worked 3 times out of 14 or 15 seasons now? This SB is going to be won yet again by a veteran QB. This is one of those things that sounds so logical that it must be true, so people just keep repeating like it is. But it isn't, it only works on paper or in Madden, but in real life it's veteran QBs that win the Super Bowl plain and simple.
ESPN has lost a lot of credibility awhile ago, home of the troll hot takes now days.
