Lol probably because Iowa is a farming state. Like majorly. When I’ve gone I didn’t see much diversity. But cultural diversity can have to do with many different things. Culture doesn’t have to be race it can also be coming from different states or towns. Every place has a different culture.
I totally understand where you're coming from, this is such an important discussion! I really would recommend visiting U of Iowa while school is in session. Welcome week all of my friends were on my floor, and I'm in a dorm that is predominantly white. University of Iowa does have diversity, but it is still a midwestern university.
