If bedrock had more people running it, there would be so much more sub 9s and new strategies. Bedrock edition has like 4 times more players than java, yet java has like 4-10x more active speedrunners than bedrock.
People hating on bedrock, but it deserves way more than what it gets. Sure it’s way buggier and maybe more RNG based than java, but the strategies that come out of the game and the possible times are incredible. People are talking about when a sub 7 will happen, but one already did, and barley anyone talks about it
Also people that think bedrock has an advantage sound crazy to me as a bedrock runner. On Java you have a structure guaranteed in every quadrent while bedrock doesn't, on Java you can instantly find the bastion with e ray which you can't do on bedrock, you can instantly find the fortress and portal room because of pie chart and ninja brain bot combined with Java having faster enters completely makes up for bedrock's advantage with spawning right next to the stronghold. Java also has idk like 5x or 10x the runners that Bedrock has, bedrock is at a clear disadvantage and still gets ahead of Java relatively consistently.
@@arrowpaw1847no lols run is the only bedrock run that’s anywhere near Drips 7:01, and spawning right over a stronghold makes up for the Java advantages if you get lucky enough
@@isaacisidk-u3o 1. I never said bedrock had anymore runs close to drip's run. 2. It should be the other way around because Lol's 6:46 happened well before Drip's 7:01 3. Spawning above the stronghold does not make up for the advantages over Java at all. Java basically has a /locate bastion with E ray, a /locate buried treasure, portal room, and fortress with the pie chart. And having much faster enters+ double travel completely makes up for Bedrock's stronghold advantage. And this isn't even taking in account how many more runners Java has. Bedrock doesn't have an advantage and that's all my reply was about.
@@arrowpaw1847drips run didn’t use eray or piray, but also I said if you get lucky enough. Technically, if you get lucky enough none of those strats matter. I’m not saying that cause that’s wrong, but lols run was a MASSIVE outlier, which shows how lucky he got. His run was great, and equally impressive as drips, but it’s like comparing two different games because the strats are just completely different.
some elements are better and some are worse i guess, like the saturation healing in java is way more helpful and allows the speedrunner to be less likely to die from lack of regeneration
booth runs were originally rejected too so that makes both of them so much more comparable
that bedrock dragon fight setup was wack asf
too bad the dragon doesn't perch in bedrock like it does in java
@@ddsteve yeah it has the old java perch
Hmm. Could you do the shield cycle then? @@wherewhyhow0

Bedrock player base is casual that’s why

Why are you trazinn now you such a big noob
I like how blazes look in bedrock, they should add that in java too
