    KVA को KW में बदलने के लिए हमे KVA में P.F. को गुणा करना होता है।

      @@sarcarchirag7512 For Single phase Power(Watt) =V×I×power factor and For three phase Power= 1.73×V×I×Power factor [Here 1.73 is equal to Root 3,for 3 phase supply Root 3 multiplying with Voltage ]

    There are two losses in tranformer. 1.cu loss (depends on current)
    2.Fe loss (depends on voltage)
    Hence total loss depends on volt ampere(VA) and not on phase angle
    b/w voltage and current... It is independent of load power factor.

    You made my concept clear but you made two mistake while you convert watt to KW you multiply by 1000 & and when you convert KVA to KW you devide KVA by PF that is your mistak
    KW=watt÷1000
    KW=KVA×PF

    I think as per my study transformer have two losses 1) iron loss and 2) is copper loss ryt
    iron loss is depend on voltage of primary winding or core loss
    And copper loss is depend on the cureent flowing in the secondary winding so the rating is VA so the transformer rating is always KVA.

    1st point - PF is nothing but cosine of angle between voltage and current and not losses as you are saying. 2nd point - xmer rating given in kva because xmer losses mainly copper loss and core loss are independent of PF. Copper loss depends on current and core loss depend on voltage.

      100/0.8=80 hey keya tune bhul bola hey P=S*cos(phi) where P=Active Power & S=Apparent Power.....so it can be 100KVA*0.8=80 KW.....Don't misguide the people.
