I see a lot of issues still, but for an alpha I'm really enjoying it! I think the core is there and they need to keep going with it. How do you like it?
@@BOOM555 unfortunately I haven't gotten to play much due to some circumstances in my personal life but from the little I have played and seen I certainly agree that the core is there and I'm hopeful that they will fix a lot of the lingering issues and make it a much better game.

I mean they did say they are removing the concept of physical and magical roles, meaning (almost) any god can fit any role... Hunters can be supportive, solo can be mid, mages fight junglers and assassins are adc.
Personally I like it. It actually feels good having different items that get you to a tier 3. I would just change the shop to be more like Smite 1, where it shows you the tier 3 items first
I'm not a big fan of Arena in Smite 1 so I might not be the best judge, but I liked it more! Maybe just because I spam picked Ares and ran it down tho.
Sure Ares does damage but you need to check all boxes, like having some penetration, landing all chains with the maximun time gap possible and auto attack. This Ares just spam chains and kill lol

What even is Ares.. has the durability of a Guardian and the Damage of a Mage but with the aggressive behavior of an Assassin
