I like the carrousel because aside from being a social turn ( together with others' encounters in this set) it is also a turn witch other players' decisions direct and immediately impact yours, so doesn't feel like you are playing with just a bunch of bots that place pieces and forget about.

"we" don't even have a carousel, without the encounters, aka, before this set we had none, and they will be gone after (probably)... we had a start carousel as greeting (everyone free to run around), now it already became only a portal vote (everyone only stands in place) i say, keep them. (and add them into regular Hyper). Its the only social part of the game. don't remove the only (non antagonistic) human interaction in your multiplayer game...

@@oniuserjh aphelios shred lasts 5 seconds. Its literally only his auto attacks prior to first cast that wouldnt shred, but every other aa after his first ult would. Its a pointless item. Lol way better options
Kinda sad the 5 exalted actually wasn't relevant. Was looking forward to seeing mort make it work on a smaller board. Not have him play it for one round when it wasn't even relevant given how strong he already was
Maybe one of the answers to the question about carrousel is to understand why removing it from the begining of the game was good. Of course, later it's not just a clicks per second test, but it's agravating when you need something and you are griefed by choice or not. I will not lie, I have a bias against it and would love to see it go, but having some form of player interaction other than just pvp rounds would be nice.
Carrousel should be reworked. Remove the RNG aspect of it and keep everything else. Its frustrating to know when you strategically placed yourself in the scoreboard somewhere to only see the unit or item you want spawn across the carrousel and your enemy picks it up. With everything else kind of randomized, this should be the one apparently mechanism where skill is prioritized. Like if everyone had to run from the same spawn location across some map to pick a unit/item.

Nice rng mortdog. Im uncontested the whole game yet i can't two star any of my invokers. Ive been rolling 100 gold at lvl8 yet no 2 stars. Non of my champs are even in carousel. Again, im uncontested. At fvcking 5-5 thats only when i got my first fucking invoker two star alune. Then like the games trolling me. Had three more alune at fvcking 5-5. Now im at 6 alune at a lose streak with a life of 22 while the rest of lobby has 2-3 3 star champs by fvcking 5-5. And at that point have 0 gold. Where is the play around there? Now im convinced, whats that famous line you have, "know a better board", "get gud"? 5-8th place are the extremely unlucky boards, while the 1-4th have the extremely lucky boards. There is no inbetween. I only manage to place 5th is because i played it safe and chose the best of what i got in augments and items yet extremely low odds on champ rolls when i was uncontested. I know there has to be the bottom placers but this is to extreme at the point you risk there joy from playing the game while the other half gets all of fun. Best dev ever lmao. Stats aint everything. Listen to players, everyone. Not just the sweet words you wanna hear.
