I actually like the accidental cut thread - because I've been tying for 20 years and still find myself doing similar things occasionally. like the video - nice tutorial for beginners.
Ive mostly fished them in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. But, I’d fish them confidently in any river with caddis and craneflies anywhere in the world. These are based off from popular European patterns, and they fish well over there also. Hope it works well for you too!
@@GilbertRowley Thanks for the reply! I tied some, and will give them a try tomorrow. They are fun and easy to tie, and look cool. I will fish them with confidence based on your recommendation.

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
In what state do you fish these the most? I'm trying to figure out if they will work in eastern U.S. freestone streams.
Thanks for the video.

@@TB-zh9pe awesome! Best of luck out there!
@@GilbertRowley They worked. I caught a couple nice wild browns and a bunch of rainbows today.
@@TB-zh9pe fantastic! So glad to hear they worked for you! Thanks for the update.
your flies are just amazing, curious to see how much your box at the beginning of the video is worth thanks
Thanks for the compliment! That fly box is priceless after all the time spent at the vise...;-)
good fly- terrible intro. that static made my ears bleed
I guess the intro's not for everyone, but I'm glad you liked the fly!
