I think, loneliness is both good and bad. At times it feels nice being alone. Like going outside, listening to music and washing your car or going for long walks. But the when you overthink and need someone to talk to, and theres no one, it sucks.

Emotional eating is an oversimplification of what happens. Food gives our brains a boost in serotonin, gaba and dopamine... a high if you will. When a lonely or depressed person hardly eats that's when it's a cause for concern bc they don't even try to feel joy anymore
I'm rewatching this clip regularly about every 6 months, and every time it make me feel that there are two types of loneliness at least: weekend's self-reflective, deep and slow loneliness and weekday's fast and busy loneliness. And each moment of your life you spend just in one of these types. And there's just nothing else in this life besides these lonelinesses

I used to listen to this song all the time 3 years ago everynight at like 2 AM, even tho I had classes in the morning. I used to feel so lonely back then but somehow everytime I listened to this song I didn't dislike that feeling, I felt at peace. It's not ok. Most people don't think far ahead. One day, your mom, your dad, everyone is dead. Friends might be there, but they have their own life. And if you think being alone is hard at 20,30 or 40, try it at 70,80 or 90, when you can't even leave the house maybe. I saw it in my grandma and felt so bad for her😢. I'd rather get hit by a bus and die younger than to suffer through that. Now I am 38 and I already spent 90% of the last 20 years completely alone.

I watched this movie at a time in my life when i was filled with sadness and regret. i was frozen in place. Even tho things are better now, for some reason, sometimes i look back at that time with fondness. Like things were simpler and easier when i wasn't trying. Sometimes i slip back into my old habits and come back at this part of youtube for a moment of shelter.

I love everything from Chungkin Express, but I prefer this first part, because actually I've been living the exact same situation that Zhiwu had and I've been thinking just like he did, that's something that surprised me when I saw the film and since then it became part of me. (And yeah, the pineapple thing was very similar to some stuff related to a special date for me)

when i watched this movie, i never really thought he was an actual cop, or even talking to actual people.. i kinda just thought he was so lonely he created this imaginary life so he can have a sense of belonging.. you never actually hear anyone talk back on the phone, all the crime chases are blurry and cant even tell whats going on, he never actually goes into the police station to talk to any boss or coworkers.. and the cook person kinda just seems to entertains it knowing he's a lonely dude.
