Loved watching and especially hearing these cars at Famoso. Nothing in the world like at small block singing at high RPM’s. What does your car typically rev to? Has to be well above 9000 I’m guessing.
Typically this car will hit 10,500 at finish line With our Jr Fuel A motor. But with this motor in it now running nitro we only run it to about 8800 - 9000 rpm at the finish line.
@@hybrdthry Jr fuel is a a Nhra Heritage series class that runs along the west coast, there’s 4 different categories A,B,C,N. Jr fuel A run a 14 degree head, Jr fuel B and C run a 23 degree heads, Jr Fuel Nitro you can run both 14 and 23 degree heads but limited to only 430 cubic inch small block. These cars will weigh anywhere from 1350 - 1500 pounds. The average ET for Jr fuel A is 6.90, Jr fuel B is 7.00, Jr fuel c is 7.15 and jr fuel nitro is 7.30
@@hybrdthry You’re welcome, we normally run at Bakersfield, Redding, and Sonoma, definitely a class you need to check out in person. The sounds of these cars are unique they sound completely different in person than they do on camera.
We had a local old school Jr fuel racer who I had the pleasure of being with at his last Nitro Revival in 2021. RIP Jerry King
The steering is like “no”
That is an E ticket ride! Great driving especially at the end of the run. Always have loved FED's especially the JR fuel. cars.
