The reason why you were so slow on the straights was because of the wear on your engine components. Remember to change your components, or it will be impossible to overtake and defend on the straights.

If the session length was on 3/5 instead of 2/5 I'm pretty sure the other drivers would've gone in for a pit when the track started drying. I know from a streaming or video standpoint it may be a bit too slow but I'd love to see him change that. It probably only adds 6 or 7 more laps maybe?
Josh, at the start of your series you mentioned “if my teammate is really far back, I’m going too fast”… bottas is qualifying in p18, it is not a big deal if you go p9 as opposed to p5.

if you have equal times for quali, it will determine who is in front based on who completed the lap first. As later in the session the track is expected to be more grippy which helps lap time. you were also literally catching the field after pitting by about 3s per lap, you just had to change your line to overtake sargeant and bottas but you kept to the "racing" line which the AI are coded to be going unless you are side by side. so change your line and try to overtake you have better tyres, more grip and shorter braking distance its not hard to dive bomb at some of the corners.
turn up the difficulty to like 93 for quality and then back to 90 for races

when its raining and track is wet you should up your front wing aero downforce which helps with corners and causes you to less drift as you essentially got a dry set up for a wet race
Loving the videos Josh, could we actually see the setttings? Seems like traction control is too high, instead of upping difficulty change the settings
josh just to let you know your running 5 laps of fuel for one flying lap take some out
I reckon you should remove a few assists before bumping up ai difficulty again cause it will become much harder to adjust later on

If you want to see what caused the safety car, you can always just go to the replay and choose the perspective of the other drivers. Would be cool to see what caused the crash
Hey Josh, advice for managing tyres in qualifying. For Q1 only use recommended Q1 soft tyres. For Q2 go for the used Q1 tyres for your first lap and your second lap use the new Q2 tyres. For Q3 go for the Used Q2 tyres and your second lap used the new Q3 softs. Also for each qualifying session, your second lap should be nearing the end just in time to start before the time ends. Your second lap for each session should always be with brand new tyres. Hope this helps 😁
You needed to up your differential lock up to 60% that's why you are turning sideways on the turns. Your at 30% and your front brake is at 55%. That's what I would of done. Usually helps me.
When you exit from a saftycar use overtake to get a good restart

If it's the same time by drivers, it's the one that set the fastest lap first which decides it
The reason you were higher in q2 despite having the same time, is exactly the same as George and Max last weekend...it's given to the driver who sets the time first

reason you were slipping and sliding is because when you accelerate you're always using 100% throttle

can someone explain why he is so fast in quali but falls so much in the race? i know there is DRS in the race and tactics and so on, but how can a guy like Sainz For example get p10 in quali when he is driving a better car? would that just be sainz having a bad quali? Im not that F1 smart
The quali is normally faster for humans than ai because we can kinda abuse the track lines to go faster, there are so many turns you can skip/cut without penalised while ai will never do that
