Beautiful. This is why I love and collect Yamaha Synths. so rich and warm pads. So many overlooked and underrated Yamaha's I have 5 so far. thank you for sharing. adding to my collection.
It sounds awesome I'm thinking about getting one. Can you tell me what you're using for an amp set up? Thanks I'm really a guitarist but I'm trying it keyboards and working towards a home studio. My house burnt down low and I lost a ton of my stuff
Very nice demo! I had the CS6R, but can't remember that there was such an awesome Rhodes sound in the presets! I found most of the factory presets rather boring! The CS1X / CS2X were way better imho!
you say the same thing everywhere, the CS2X isn't better, nor " way better ", they are not to be compared, the 6X/6R is really way better, no one will ever say the opposite (except you, lol !). And the CS2X is a CS1X with more of everything, so the 1 has really no interest if you've go the 2 (nothing more, only less).
ok, cs6 was a nice synth for inbuilt sounds... plasticky feel to the keys tho.... had 640 on board sounds with 64 voice poly.expansion was via 2x plg slots....there are no gm sounds on board but you can get an xg plg board.... it.s an ok synth makes a better controller tho...if your after onboard sounds get an original motif 6 or 8... :)
ok, a sensible 'for a change'and valid point...dont get me wrong the cs was and is a great synth, I just prefer the depth and spaciousness of the motifs. :)
@mipmipmipmipmip Had a CS1x. Never liked the sound. Too cheesy. My CS6x is still there. I bought it new so I'm its first owner. The AN1x is also a beast. Don't have one though.
Thats what tin cans are for dummy. Soda cans and folgers. Great memories. Your messing up your life shooting keyboards and missing out on a great thing. Tin cans are great targets.

It's got a very musical, razzle-dazzle, immersive warmth to it.... Almost reminds me a little of the warmth of a Jp-8000 on some of the pads.
I'd forgotten how good that Rhodes is
.............it's a great keyboard for the money
i have an original motif 6 and it still amazes me to this day..
I recently bought one I'll probably give a go soon nice demo something to aim for
The cs1nx demo's are really good
Bought one immaculate condition haven't had chance to use it yet sounds awesome man
Like afternoon in heaven!
Yamaha keyboards are really good quality
Nice jazz chops, man!
Got a sy 55 as well
What numbers/letters did you put in the screen for the piano/pads and the E. Piano/pads?

From 6:08 sounds a little bit like dyno piano from the korg 01/w

You really like the General Midi (XG) sounds more? Ok, for a one man band they are more comfortable.
Can you tell me if you are playing actual sounds in the keyboard or from a plug in board?
internal sounds, man
Tocas muy bien broder !...salu2
Hi greeting please teach me how to split and layer using YAMAHA CS6X
Отличный инструмент!!! Сам хочу такой!

Motif is good but I prefer a lot of the sounds of the CS6 over it.

Not cheap. That was the flagship model. Feels like SY77, or Motif. Take my word for it. CS1x was cheap feeling, but not this, by any means.
Well, I have CS1x, CS2x and CS6x and I love all of them, Ok the keys of the 1 feel cheap but it sounds great as well.

Algún contacto?
You lot have missed the boat ..
Where the bloody trance sounds?
As from 18.30?
I had one of these. I shot it with a shotgun after lighting it on fire with gasoline. it was a blast.
maybe a look into the manual would have been even more rewarding, but what do I know

He’s a bozo just trying to get a laugh
No General Midi in there to defend himself. Just get a Sound Canvas.
towards the end of this vid is where the filter and sound quality really shows!
