You could but it's difficult as they only like certain trees in certain areas that grow within certain ecosystems. Eg if you moved a Victorian Koala to NSW, it might not eat the leaves in NSW cause they don't taste the same
Hey Sherri. I think, although I may be wrong, that the diet on the mainland may be a bit different to the one these Koalas have gotten used to on the Island. This may not be good for their health. As I stated I may be wrong. If I am I apologise.
@Mia - Sᴇx Cʜᴀɴɴᴇʟ 18+🅥l certainly wouldn't be relocating them any where near you they Might end up becoming extinct that is terrible showing your back end 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃
I have a gator plushie. Probably a bit nicer and quite a bit smaller than the gators in this episode. He wears my glasses at night and keeps them safe.
Why do you not take them from Kangaroo Island back to the mainland?. The whole world knows about the bushfires and the decimation of the koalas and Roos.
They won’t take them to mainland Australia because the koalas on the island are disease free, transferring them puts them at risk of diseases like chlamydia..
If the koalas are overpopulated here and endangered other places, wouldn’t it make sense to capture some here and relocate them to a place where they are endangered?
Come get blue gum and eucalyptus from the Bay Area of California, we’re trying to get rid of it b/c it makes our buildings at fire risk so we want to get rid of it and I’ve heard that you need more of it so it sounds logical.
If only humans had some sense of the resources of our earth. After all, it is all we have and those complex ecologies folks like those at the Australian Reptile Park promote are lessons we should adhere to, can't breathe without the green and the blue.
why not relocate some to other parts of australa you had a big fire not to long ago that put a big dent in them add new blood to the park by taking some back with you
I Don't understand why you would sterilize any koalas, since it is well known that they are endangered. So, why not remove some of them and take them to other parts of Australia or even the world instead?
Doesn't make sense to sterilize koalas. Seems to me Australia may have enough area in which to relocate these wonderful creatures to prevent extinction.
Soooo why not relocate these koalas to areas that are now nearly devoid of them on the mainland? Seems to me that you often hear that they are under severe threat of extinction, yet you are sterilizing them instead of moving them. It does not make sense. After all, these koalas are there because they were nearly extinct on the island, and their ancestors were relocated to the island.
Tim is such a great teacher!
@Phoenix 𝙾𝚙𝚎𝚗 𝙼𝚢 PROFILE hahahahaha oh I’m sorry! Hahahahaha
Tim, thank you for sharing your vast knowledge about the creatures in Australia!
Hi Bobbi
How are you doing today?
I Love the way you guys take good care of the animals in the wild life. And I'm so proud of you guys doing that. Make sure they are ok.
I love this is one of the best vets there
I NEED MORE TIM F. VIDEOS! HE IS AWESOME. HE IS MY DOSE OF SEROTONIN. ♥
Can you relocate the over populated koalas to the main land? Mostly if kanagroo island is over populated but the main land isn't?
No, they'd just be killed by predators and chlamydia which is devistating the koala population on the mainland.
You could but it's difficult as they only like certain trees in certain areas that grow within certain ecosystems. Eg if you moved a Victorian Koala to NSW, it might not eat the leaves in NSW cause they don't taste the same

Watching the koalas climbing down because of a flag…. Wild! Thankfully, it’s so much safer for them.
Ohhh so .cute kuala 🥰

Koala TNR.
"The gator's sucking in big breaths means he's getting his energy back to fight." reminds me of my ex wife.

Koalas breeding is similar to couples on benefits in the uk. They're barely getting by but continue to have more kids
Чудо природы!
- Å fan! 👍

omg i love your videos i am gonna be a vet too

I thought the same.
They won’t take them to mainland Australia because the koalas on the island are disease free, transferring them puts them at risk of diseases like chlamydia..
I'm curious as to why only the females are getting procedures? Why not the males as well?
I'm so proud to be Aussie, With awesome (hot) blokes like these around, we are doing alright I reckon ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello dear
How are you doing today?
Koala 🐨 over breeding says Tim , humans have this problem as well .
Bondi Vet
Tim: I'm just glad I am not in the pond 🐊🤬
with you..
How many males 🐨
on the island?
Salutations 🤗
here for the koalas? @ 7:33
I guess, being highly territorial, that transferring some young, healthy, unsterilized koalas to the mainland is not feasible?
If the koalas are overpopulated here and endangered other places, wouldn’t it make sense to capture some here and relocate them to a place where they are endangered?
😍🌞
Why not just relocate them to the mainland were koalas are in trouble?
Haha 😂 I didn't see this posted. I said the same thing.

Why not relocate koalas from KI to the mainland, where they're endangered?

Why not relocate the excess koalas to the mainland?

with the amount of koalas lost in the fires it would make MORE SENSE to plant more trees than steralise them. 😡
