I am sending this to all 3 of my sons. Epic history and one that cant be discovered in modern education unless you are a music major. But this is as important to the soul as algebra is to the mind. Thank you and keep up the awesome work.
Sorry for being a little late! This is a beautiful video like always. I like this movement of the 7th Symphony as well but I also like the first and third movements. Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you! Good comments are never late! Yeah it is a nice symphony I think and I wanted to show too that there is much more Beethoven besides the 5th and 9th.
@@HistoriasconNotas Thank you! I agree that the less famous symphonies are very beautiful such as this one! I look forward to see more of your content! :D
Thanks!! Sure there will be more videos on him! At least one or two more I think. Now the couple of videos I have, cover his life until 1813, which means there is still work to be done and there are many interesting facts that deserve to be told of his final years.
Today is Beethoven´s 250th Birthday! Hope you like this video that continues the first episode I did, this one: ruclips.net/video/7F7IJvn5caA/видео.html
Muchas gracias!! :)
Because it seems he was. I think it is not that rare in a person who since 27 starts becoming deaf. He had also a really bad health andthat for sure affected his personality.
How come this channel dont have more subscribers?? 🤔 Your content is both entertaining and informative, keep it going! 😁 I love the video about Satie too! Greetings from Türkiye 🇹🇷
Thank you a lot!! Yeah, it would be great if I had many more subscribers, but it is what it is for the moment. Stay tuned, because tomorrow there will be a new video ;)
I think the whole of the 7th symphony is about Napoleon and his defeat. Movement 1 has a happy galloping melody throughout, interspersed with sudden interruptions. I imagine them to be mules balking. Movement 2 is Napoleon's trek through a vicious Russian winter. Movement 3 sounds like laughing and short chuckles between violins and bassoons. The first theme of last movement sounds like Russians kicking butt. Then the horns come in sounding like the charge of a British cavalry. Maybe not. I like to interpret it that way.
Actually it is number 3, the symphony that was called the Eroica and dedicated to Napoleon. Might be my mistake and misleading that I chose the 7th to illustrate that story. However, nice theory! Maybe he was also thinking of Napoleon for this one.
@@HistoriasconNotas No, you weren't mistaken. That was my impression since I first heard the symphony 40 year ago. I did look up the date for the battle of Waterloo and it was 1815 and Beethoven wrote the 7th in 1811-1812. I'm thinking he did hear about Napoleon's disastrous mistake of invading Russia in the winter. I'm assuming Napoleon began his long retreat in 1812 because of Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture. And, the first theme of the last movement sounds like Beethoven's attempt at a Russian melody. It sure doesn't sound like a western European melody. I read that he dedicated this symphony to a count who supported the arts. But, I do think he had Napoleon's defeat in mind when he wrote it.

Why beethoven usually pictured as an angry grumpy person?
Because it seems he was. I think it is not that rare in a person who since 27 starts becoming deaf. He had also a really bad health andthat for sure affected his personality.
he was an angry grumpy person. He’d literally lash out on ppl in his orchestra for not playing right
And ironically enough he wrote the purest message of love to the universe in symphony no 9
