I watched the entire drama within two days. I really loved plot and the character development and all. Everything was well until the medicinal jade thing. It was unnecessary. Even after I loved end plot to make the ML's father being the real villain. It was then, I realized the ML was suffering just as much as the FL if not more. Having such an awful father who manipulated and killed his own kids for his selfish wishes struck real hard.
So they went with the fake out I see. I'm not a fan of fantasy to this extent most of time, but as I liked EL I'll have to put this on my list. Thanks for the introduction.

The only relieving thing is, in divine/immortal drama, there is a phase of regret and amend, usually in the last part, to comfort the viewers. Sadly, in real life, which there is only one soul/life, sad will be exactly sad, not all evil character has chances to redeem and reconcile.
