Thank you!! I'm really glad to hear it, I think it adds a nice element to the challenge and hopefully some more interesting possibilities. If you're looking for other decades lets plays with history elements I'd definitely recommend Plumbobs and the Past, she adds a lot of history throughout her gameplay.
Usually the marriage and baby rolls are only for gen 2 and omward, but since it worked out in your game and you got a lot of baby tries, it's all good 😊
Ahh!! I always love a new UDC and yours seems to be well filmed, and well played. So i'm even more excited!!! Have you used MCC to set custom aging up for your challenge? I only ask because i feel as though later on in the challenge it will just be easier to help with all the birthdays. 😊
Just acouple of quick things from the beginning of your video. First, I suggest you harvest on the next to last day of the season as a lot of the udc players I've watched who try to harvest on the last day encounter glitches where their crops get reset, and they don't actually get to harvest. Second, the bags are part of ecolifestyle. It's a NAP. I don't actually have eco lifestyle, so I'm not sure if you can turn that part off or not.
That's good to know. I haven't seen it happen before, but I'll definitely move our next harvest a day ahead to be pre-emptive. Yes, I managed to find the neighbourhood it was happening in and repeal it. I'll have to double check that I've turned the eco lifestyle settings off completely, as I can imagine it will pop up again.
Hey I wanted to let you know the links in description cannot be clicked. I think the bags are the eco lifestyle neighbourhood action plans or whatever, you should probably turn that feature off?
Thanks for letting me know, I'll try and get that fixed! Yes, I thought I had turned that feature off but I mustn't have. All fixed now though, thankfully!
Is there any particular reason that you chosw to set the LP in Scotland to start? I really like that you did, it spices up your LP. And i may have to have some of my children move to Scotland since you went through and did all the research
Thank you! I've been fascinated with Scotland since I was little and it got me into studying history, so I figured it would be fun to play there. Yeah, I was hoping someone had played in Scotland, so I wouldn't have to do as much research but it was fun reading up about the time period. Cool, if you do so let me know how it goes! ☺️
@@girlyfrey So, across my three gen 1 sims, 13 babies have been born. It is 1308. All but 3 of the babies are dead. I am terrified for the great famine.
Woah!! That sounds absolutely horrible and with the famine so close, yikes. Which dice roll rules are you following? Fingers crossed you get more babies that survive before then 🤞
I like how you added bits of history in your lets play. I haven't seen anyone doing this challenge do that. Definitely enriches the story.

Ah that's good to know. I did get a little confused with the rules there, so definitely lucky we got good baby try numbers :)

Thank you very much!! Yes, I have used MCC for custom aging. I thought it would be a major headache later on with the amount of sims lol!
@@girlyfrey yay! Finally someone who has a brain!!! 🤧

@@girlyfreyI set my udc on the border between England and Scotland. Talk about a chaotic place at this time. Lol
Hahaha yes! Such a chaotic time. I'm hoping it will be good for storylines/gameplay! How's your udc going?
