In inventor 2019, is it possible to create a personnal propertie (like "radioactivity") and link it to a part (for exemple add "radioactivity" field in the ipropertie, project tab part). Then show this propertie in a bubble, on an assembly drawing ? Thank you
Hi Simon, Thanks for reaching out. It turns out that the balloon text is controlled from the styles editor within the drawing. And from there, you can actually choose what property gets displayed. This forum post has some good pictures for demonstration: forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/balloons-to-call-out-custom-properties/td-p/4580407 It's a bit more involved getting custom iproperties to map to the balloon tab, but if you're okay with using default iproperty fields for your radioactivity note, you can simply pull those in for the balloon annotations!
