I hated the part with the rings! Everybody knows that Felix and Hyunjin wear couple rings. So it felt like they were trying to devalue that and even if Hyunjin and Felix are "just" really close friends it seems somewhat cruel to do so.
I so agree with you, this always happens with couple dynamics, the same thing happened in skz code when they went to the midnight amusement park, at first lix explains the dynamic of choosing the headbands you want and those who have the same headbands will be a couple, but when he does, he points to the rabbit headbands as if noting which one he will choose, when he sees that Hyunjin grabs the bear ones, he sighs, looks annoyed and then i.n told him that he had put the rabbit ears on backwards, hyunjin saw him and said something like "omg", and felix replies "oh man i'm so sorry man", but he really looks annoyed, like he's especially annoyed with hyunjin for not choosing the same headband. And now with this game the same thing happens. I feel that lix really wants to do the dynamics and share those moments with hyunjin, that's why he gets upset or sad when that doesn't happen, he does want to take the risks, but hyunjin follows the rules more and prefers that discretion. As soon as hyunjin chose changbin I knew why so I agree with your analysis and I think hyunjin knew changbin was beside him laying down hence why he tried to intercept felix getting to him lol, (tom and jerry those two lol) I also knew during the ring part as soon as hyunjin and felix shared a looked at each other they communicated with just their eyes they’d rather choose each other but can’t so there’s an understanding but when it’s time to give their ring to someone felix can’t help expressing his feelings already knowing that someone other than him was gonna choose hyunjin to give their ring too but because hyunjin accepted so eagerly and happily felix looked visibly upset which then made hyunjin show regret at making felix upset accepting changbin ring so eagerly but knows it wasn’t intentional but I don’t think hyunjin and felix can help themselves sometimes with displaying how they feel about things regarding each other, with the rings though I actually expected them to give them to whomever they chose as their partners instead of randomly giving them out that didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me but anyway I love hyunlix and their special loving caring hot/cold relationship, thank you for the video, I look forward to more hyunlix videos from you
I don't think Felix or Hyunjin have a hot cold relationship they have very difficult relationship. First we need to consider are we shipping. Obvious, they are close but we see only what is allowed to be seen. Until Korean ideals loosen being anything other than heterosexual NO company like JYPE is going to let any slip ups. So yes they All have to play a game. Which I find very sad. Second, we have to remember Felix is Australian not Korean so he especially has to be so diligent with his interactions. And he has a very hard time hiding his true feelings. The "cold" statements I read is having to adjust to a countries ideals, a companies need to make money, and the cultural differences. Hyunjin struggles with this as well. Maybe worse. Back to shipping. Are we as Stays? Is this a good thing? Are these guys having to act they maybe in a relationship for US? Publicity is $$$. Curiosity is a powerful thing. Now eyes are on Han and Lee Know. Are we treating them with respect by prying and dissecting each snippet we get? Makes a great K drama. Are you looking at the same hyunjin and felix? cause that’s not true now if say not as much okay but “barely” that would be false and they both can be cold towards each other sometimes for whatever reason but they also can be really warm with each other hence why I refer to them as hot/cold, who knows why things are sometimes this way with them but I think overall their bond/friendship is fine but they can’t always be how they want with each other on camera for whatever reason and it can come off cold and distant, like their not still close and I really only notice this with hyunjin and felix which definitely makes me wonder why as everyone is allowed to interact very freely with each other but hyunlix seems restricted, just my observation

I liked your analysis. I'll add a few of my own clarifications and additions: 1. Hyunjin chose Changbin! After two years, they are allowed to interact on camera together. Hyunjin said that it's hard to keep a secret. He felt like he was having a secret affair. 2. Felix loves Changbin as his cool older hyung. Felix is very loyal to Changbin. 3. Han is a fan of Felix. For a long time. Everyone in the 2 kids room was talking about this. Felix cares what Han thinks of him. The only time Hyunjin was reticent in assessing the relationship between the members was when Han and Felix were talking in the 2 kids room. Han and Felix are each other's fans.
I am so glad I’m not the only one who noticed these things too! And I’m glad you out the shot of Felix going behind Hyunjin and doing what looks to be giving him a kiss in the head. I think that was real and the staff couldn’t keep that part out!

The bond between them is stronger and deeper than what we at times see in some of the games and episodes etc, as they are scripted or made to look or cut in a way that is deemed suitable by the marketing team, which is normal sadly in the KPoP industry. They are more real and relaxed and lively during their concerts and you can see how much they love it especially Jinnie. Binnie is a loving and caring person to all the members and his bond with Jinnie is very heartwarming and real, and am sure that Jinnie loves spending time with him no matter what. To be honest they all are family and they see each other so much that what we are allowed to see is a small portion of their lives and some is not the full story or side of it. Felix is more obvious and less subtle than Jinnie, who is more reserved and cautious in showing reactions or emotions, but when they are together you can feel the magnetic pull and vibes between them even on silent mode, their glances and looks esp from Felix shows the pull/connection, they complete each other like a puzzle and no one can deny that, i support them whatever their bond is as it is too precious to loose and am happy that they keep it more private with this toxic media and some fans.
It is interesting that all the rings are similar, so even if Han gives up his paired ring from Felix after filming, no one will understand the substitution and you can always say that this is a different ring

Thank you for sharing this analysis. I feel really sorry for Hynlix. It’s a longer time they’re really close to each other. As a K-Pop member there are a lot of really hard rules you have to follow, I can imagine in this age it’s not easy too. It’s even harder that you don’t have so much privacy. I love to see both together and you can see it in their faces how much they are in love and how close they are. They look even more beautiful with those feelings and I really don’t like to see them so sad, like it was more often last times. They are just humans with feelings like everyone else. I hope they stay together through all this, their bond seems so beautiful and special. It’s like in a K- Drama.
I agree with majority of this analysis. The moment they announced this program, I knew hyunlix won't end up together or in this case won't get to choose each other. And the moment Hj choose changbin, I knew he tried to "get rid" of him off Felix, so in order to do that, things had to be done. And in some way, dirty. And Lix chose Chan, but here actually had more chemistry with Jeongin. I rmb Seungmin actually hinted that Hj wanted to choose Lix. About rings, when Seungmin said who's going to choose Lix's ring, Hyunjin was actually eyeing it, like he wanted to be the one to put it on his finger but ofc he can't and see how his eyes (and Minho's) are following Han when he immediately said "me" to Lix's ring. And Lix was back backhugging him, if I wasn't mistaken. It's like changbin wanted Han but Han wanted Lix so Hj also insert himself in this "love game" between Han, Lix, and changbin. I think Hyunjin's jealousy also play a part here but hence, didn't end up good with hyunlix. If you see members reaction here, esp Seungmin and Han, it's quite obvious. When Lix told a lie/joke and Han patted Hj's shoulder "our Lix is bad at lying" or smth like that and Hj was like "wtf r u talking about. Our? Mine". Lol jk, unless?? Or when Lix was pissed and you can see Hj was sitting and smiling at him, finding his reaction cute, I pressume. His eyes were checking on Lix most of the time. I know this is a Hyunlix video but I believe that both Hyunlix and Minsung were told not to give each other the rings - the staff probably instructed them beforehand not to do anything fans could take as an confirmation of a real gay relationship, to avoid a scandal. Minsung found it easier to play along (maybe because they’re used to it as they have been a popular ship for a long time and are used to hiding by now or because they are not wearing actual couple rings in real life, so it had less emotional weight for them) while Hyunlix, especially Felix, have a harder time hiding jealousy
We all don't just (sarcastically) love our family. Changbin been obnoxious, or so it seems, with his muscle growth. Obnoxious gets old fast. Changbin should be proud but maybe he needs to read the room.
i never meant that he doesn't like him, but HJ might be jealous of CB cause Felix seems to admire CB (a lot) official and can be very loud abt it. In my opinion I believe, Felix isn´t allowed to talk about HJ in that way... sadly. But I´m not saying HJ doesn´t like CB. They´re all like big happy family as you say, but some of them have a deeper and different connection than the rest of them.

The bond between them is stronger and deeper than what we at times see in some of the games and episodes etc, as they are scripted or made to look or cut in a way that is deemed suitable by the marketing team, which is normal sadly in the KPoP industry. They are more real and relaxed and lively during their concerts and you can see how much they love it especially Jinnie. Binnie is a loving and caring person to all the members and his bond with Jinnie is very heartwarming and real, and am sure that Jinnie loves spending time with him no matter what. To be honest they all are family and they see each other so much that what we are allowed to see is a small portion of their lives and some is not the full story or side of it. Felix is more obvious and less subtle than Jinnie, who is more reserved and cautious in showing reactions or emotions, but when they are together you can feel the magnetic pull and vibes between them even on silent mode, their glances and looks esp from Felix shows the pull/connection, they complete each other like a puzzle and no one can deny that, i support them whatever their bond is as it is too precious to loose and am happy that they keep it more private with this toxic media and some fans.

Thank you for sharing this analysis. I feel really sorry for Hynlix. It’s a longer time they’re really close to each other. As a K-Pop member there are a lot of really hard rules you have to follow, I can imagine in this age it’s not easy too.
It’s even harder that you don’t have so much privacy.
I love to see both together and you can see it in their faces how much they are in love and how close they are. They look even more beautiful with those feelings and I really don’t like to see them so sad, like it was more often last times. They are just humans with feelings like everyone else. I hope they stay together through all this, their bond seems so beautiful and special.

I agree with majority of this analysis. The moment they announced this program, I knew hyunlix won't end up together or in this case won't get to choose each other. And the moment Hj choose changbin, I knew he tried to "get rid" of him off Felix, so in order to do that, things had to be done. And in some way, dirty. And Lix chose Chan, but here actually had more chemistry with Jeongin. I rmb Seungmin actually hinted that Hj wanted to choose Lix. About rings, when Seungmin said who's going to choose Lix's ring, Hyunjin was actually eyeing it, like he wanted to be the one to put it on his finger but ofc he can't and see how his eyes (and Minho's) are following Han when he immediately said "me" to Lix's ring. And Lix was back backhugging him, if I wasn't mistaken. It's like changbin wanted Han but Han wanted Lix so Hj also insert himself in this "love game" between Han, Lix, and changbin.
I think Hyunjin's jealousy also play a part here but hence, didn't end up good with hyunlix. If you see members reaction here, esp Seungmin and Han, it's quite obvious. When Lix told a lie/joke and Han patted Hj's shoulder "our Lix is bad at lying" or smth like that and Hj was like "wtf r u talking about. Our? Mine". Lol jk, unless??
Or when Lix was pissed and you can see Hj was sitting and smiling at him, finding his reaction cute, I pressume. His eyes were checking on Lix most of the time. Long story short, we should never expect hyunlix in this kind of love game/show bc staff exist🤷♀️🤷♀️

I know this is a Hyunlix video but I believe that both Hyunlix and Minsung were told not to give each other the rings - the staff probably instructed them beforehand not to do anything fans could take as an confirmation of a real gay relationship, to avoid a scandal. Minsung found it easier to play along (maybe because they’re used to it as they have been a popular ship for a long time and are used to hiding by now or because they are not wearing actual couple rings in real life, so it had less emotional weight for them) while Hyunlix, especially Felix, have a harder time hiding jealousy

We all don't just (sarcastically) love our family. Changbin been obnoxious, or so it seems, with his muscle growth. Obnoxious gets old fast. Changbin should be proud but maybe he needs to read the room.
i never meant that he doesn't like him, but HJ might be jealous of CB cause Felix seems to admire CB (a lot) official and can be very loud abt it. In my opinion I believe, Felix isn´t allowed to talk about HJ in that way... sadly.

What I personally thought is that the staffs ofcourse know the biggest evidence for HyunLix is the couple ring coz of which the ship and its supporters are all hyped up so they just gave out these couple more like group rings to all the members, its like they just totally shunned the couple rinfs that hyunlix always showed off plus they also keep making hyunlix to talk abt how they came to share the couple rings all the time....

I worked in different companies and saw many such "hidden" couples, but their behaviour on public was practically the same: meaningful glances, secret touches, intense staring, trying to make other side jealous, "takeyourhandoffmymanb&tch" expressions. They always subconsciously touch each other and when they can't touch at least always turned towards each other and stealing glances, controlling reactions.
