Just hoping this puts the "Lana is Darth Nul" conspiracies to rest finally. The Theron traitor arc was bad enough. Lana betraying the PC would be incredibly disappointing.
At this point I could not imagine any story without Lana. Even if she doesn't actually appear in a story content, she probably does the briefings and explanations before and after. She isn't just our second in command, she is a chief narrative element. There is no other character that could fill that role.
Honestly this update was pretty bad, wished the imp side could had a fight against tau idair and the pub side could've had a fight against Darth Rivix. The voss missions honestly seemed like a chore. The flashpoint seemed pretty cool though, the information about Darth Nul seemed pretty cool, her lightsaber is pretty cool. The armors are okay in my opinion. I want the armor that Vitate is wearing the echoes of oblivion.
Is Malgus allowed to stand up in his electric cell or is he always seated? I mean it must be sheer agony being seated all day. What if you get an itch on your back side that cannot be scratched, and you have to endure it for the rest of your life? The horror.....
I don’t know if you’ll upload a light side or play through on a light side Character, but the Cutscene you get with Arcann is one of the best and made he happy I chose to spare him

Rikan is going to snap eventually. He's going to turn on everyone; his sister, Heta Kol, everyone. I'm starting to think that there was more than a "weak connection to the Force" that made Denolm Orr chose Sahar over him... Speculations. Edit: Regardless, leaving Rikan behind was a very big mistake and I further speculate that it came to haunt Denolm Orr till his final stand against Darth Malgus.
You give Orr too much credit. I doubt he ever thought of Rikan again until the machine pushed him to the front of Sahar's mind and forced the confrontation. Jedi are actually quite prideful and unmoving in their beliefs that they will actually do things like that. They will forcefully kidnap children from their homes and separate families on a whim because they can.
Yeah as the previous commenter said, Orr hasn't been very important in-game for this to be solely blamed on him. I'm sure if they had more time and budget, he had been further integrated to the story.

If he suceeds, he could purge corruption from both the Republic and the Empire, if he loses, they will see themselves how he got so powerful, due to their weaknesses and negligence. He already has a Mandalorian army he unknowingly made to serve his vision, forcing the Galaxy to be better and no one understands they're in his pocket. He already tried going third party, learned it didn't go well. Isn't that right, Valkorion? He's the *Ultimate* Sith Master. The Old Republic's Darth Bane. I wonder if Ri'kan will become his apprentice...
Let me get this straight; Darth Nul was a Jedi that could connect people and beings with the force and could sense hidden emotions/desires/powers, before Tenebrae converted her into a Darth like Revan. Am I the only one thinking that this is basically Jaesa Willsaam if she didn’t willingly join the Empire’s Wrath? (Who I might add is my favorite character/companion which I will Always Love and marry)
Seems this Nul characters was specifically able to locate force users and awaken their hidden potential. The Jedi exiled her because they didn't like what she was doing, so she takes her disciple to Voss where they allow her to live in some peace. Eventually, the Sith Emperor discovers this "Jedi" and does what he usually does, corrupt. Not sure if I like where they went with this.
To me she actually seems more like the Plaguemaster from Consular story. Though he required touch to establish the connection, it was still a strong link. Although a more parasitic kind, whereas Nul's power could be used in more... uplifting ways.
Interesting, I haven't played the game in years but this video does showcase SWTORs best facet, its story telling abilities. The Voss, I remember getting so frustrated and angry going there, I wanted to yell out "Just spit it out, Say it already" :). Any dialogue with Malgus reminds me of that one FP, always was my favorite one.
The Torian Scene is a tear jerker. And The Cadera Banner!!! I have it on Display! I run as a BH that went Mandorlorian and sided with the Empire. I am aiming to run my trooper through for a light side run. And Rivix is a cunning bastich... I keep expecting a blade in the back with him.
I didn't mind that the main part of the story update was just cutscenes. Unless they can think of creative combat scenarios, I can easily live with story parts that don't have combat at all. It really just wastes time when it's the usual braindead-easy mob group clearing.
Something I rather dislike is how they kind of “chill” a true dark side Sith. My Sorcerer is as evil and hateful as one could be, yet I’m forced to play nice so often without a choice.
playing through this story myself, i feel like we'll see the legends versaion of tarre vizla and the darksaber's creation Hidden chain's basically going after force sensitive right? what DO we know about Tarre aside from being the first mandalorian jedi, who are his parents, in parts of Showdown shae kept rushing after heta, me thinks Shae is Tarre's mother and she's keeping him a secret as she knows he has the force, and since Heta now has the holocron that's made to locate other force sensitives, she'll be able to track down Tarre and call out Shae for sleeping with a Jedi or whoever was Tarre's bio father But that's just a theory
I think I saw some players say it might be bugged (armors) on the swtor forums since none of the armors seem to be obtainable at the moment. I haven’t gone through it yet myself
@CyberJawa1986 I've played the Flashpoint multiple times for decos and even completed the hidden achievos on the retreat so without any further research I'd agree cause I've seen no sign of them.
It's not entirely confirmed WHAT species Rivix is, but he isn't a Pureblood. All that's listed is him being a humanoid species. And this isn't the first time we've seen a Lord-ranking Sith try to undermine and disrespect a Darth, if not publicly. It just comes with the territory.
Given the more human features compared to Sith pure bloods , I know some of the fandom speculates he is Zeltron. Zeltron’s also produce pheromones, and with some of the dialogue npcs can bring up about Rivix (like Vector for Agents) for how persuasive and charming Rivix can be, that added a bit more fuel to the fire he might be Zeltron.
Is it just me or are there some scenes where it looks like there should be some talking but all we have is facial expressions? Like the patch was missing something?
hopefully now that the bioware swtor dev team has stepped down we can get some worthy content. Hopefully the new company/devs take a look at the game , finish this chapter and go back to the original multiple story lines
Actually the devs team will be the same, Bioware is going to move them to the new study because they know the game, so actually devs who know the story + new devs who know how to manage an MMORPG.
Broadsword currently runs a few MMOs in maint mode. It's where games go to die. Saying swtor is dead is a meme at this point but it really is finished when the switch over happens. Don't expect any further story content after that happens.

I think you misunderstood my original statement :) What I said was, is that we will only focus on Story from now on. People seem to like my opinions on the "updates" as they come, so I'll sometimes talk about that if the community is wanting it or talking about it a lot. What we on't be doing, is uploading more guides, how-to's, rotations etc. The transition to story telling has been in full effect for about a year now. In the last 12 months, we've uploaded 2 videos talking about a SWTOR update, that's all. Hopefully this clears it up for you.
I'm still really happy to see this game updated and have decent cutscenes. 🥲 I get the feeling that Malgus's plans might end up being what causes the Galaxy to turn inwards and regress. Explaining the strange quiet period between Old Republic and known history. To be fair, there have been plenty of close calls that could easily been that. But with 7.X being what it is, this could be the event that they choose for it.

I only did it the once, I didn't really hang around for grinding loot and stuff. So, no idea!
