Jared is an amazing technical player when it comes to strumming and one hand fretting. And his innovation on Soulless 6 was one of the most impressive rhythm game accomplishments of recent years. I'm pretty sure he's capable of tapping fast stuff, but he doesn't because the game doesn't require him to. He's a Clone Hero player. All that being said, I respect clean FCs way more. And Acai is one of the best when it comes to hitting difficult passages on any engine. But I don't like the amount of shade that gets thrown around. You can respect accomplishments for what they are. If Jared gets Jordan 220%, it's technically a world record, but it's not more impressive than Acai's 200% FC. Imo that's fine.

@@dbeast03 well ya, and i think thats what makes the game fun. its easy to get better, and very clearly see the results of your practice, in a more visually appealing and interactive way than guitar hero/rock band
Issue is, that's arguably not "good" on its own, that's only one aspect of a game with so much more to offer if you were to play even remotely clean. Heck, Alec's one of the best at playing clean, and that's probably why he's put out so much stuff from NOT CH recently, is because CH at the highest level (in terms of NPS or visual appeal as you call it) is going to inevitably lean away from clean play and rely on engine and even controller abuse.
This sounds mean, but Clone Hero genuinely feels like a commodity to me nowadays for streaming as opposed to a serious rhythm game. I know ScoreSpy softens the blow a bit, but the general public's perception of CH has led people to believe that amiguously skilled tapping scores is all it is, which is pretty sad lmfao. I wish the devs committed to an engine change in the earlier days before the game got so carried away. GH2DX is still the gold standard atm for me tho no cap.
