We hope this video helps give you a better idea what Christmas at Dolly Parton's Stampede in Pigeon Forge Tennessee is like! Let us know if you have any questions...
Ryan, This was great video. Very informative and very entertaining. I have seen the Christmas Show before but this one is completely different. When did they change the menu and starting serving food that you eat with a fork instead of just your fingers like it aways was before? Every time we have been there, it was the chivken. Roast pork potaoe wedges ad corn on the cob. There were no forks, just fingers. What a great nativity. I appreciate that they celebrate the true reason for the Season.
Just booked this show for one night this week. Went last season &, with what they have added, Viv really wanted to see it again☺️!! Thanks for the preview; you really “do do(😳) a great job giving your viewers very useful & complete information about these attractions; much appreciated!
I try to think from the perspective of I know nothing about the area or attraction, what are the questions I would want answered. I may not hit every one of them, but try to get the main questions we noticed asked & give an idea of what to expect (type of food, length of show, etc.). We hope you have a great time at the Stampede Christmas Show!
Loved the video. Great outing. We have not went to any of the dinner theaters in the 12 visits, but we have been to most of them in Branson. So much to see in the Smoky Mountains.
My favorite show on the PF strip! We go to the regular Stampede show, or sometimes one of the other dinner shows, when we go in the spring - but at Christmas, we always go to the Stampede Christmas show. The live nativity is beautiful, and so well done. My favorite food is the soup - I always buy a couple of bags to take home. It's soooooo easy to make at home - just throw in some chicken and vegetables, along with a hot biscuit, and it's a great dinner on a cold night. We will be there December 15th - can't wait!
My top tip after going 3 times, 3 different years, if you are a big drinker is get everything you can find filled with drink, because you will not see the drink givers again the whole show. I found all the food delicious.
The best dinner show by far. We get to pigeon forge 1or 2 times a year since 2008. And we still go to the show everytime. That should tell you how good the show is.
We have only been to Branson/SDC for their Fall Festival. But we have heard their park is better decorated when it comes to Christmas. We were invited to a SDC event on Saturday but not sure if we can make it.
The only reason I haven’t went to one of these shows is because of the seating being so close together! Are you forced to sit beside strangers or do they space it out? If it’s not too busy?
We are coming up January 1-5 and will be going to the Pirates Voyage dinner show for the first time. Do y’all know if it will also have a Christmas theme??
Yay! Thank you so much for letting me know! And thank you for the great content you are always so informative! Love the family and channel and being able to watch it grow!
@@JustASouthernGirl I just talked to a friend who works at the Pirates Dinner Show. He said they don't have a "Christmas Show". Just the Stampede and Hatfield & McCoy does of the 3. Thanks for the support!
We've been several times, and it's usually very comfortable temperature (I'd guess around 72 degrees?) inside the theatre - my son is always cold though, so he takes a hoodie.
The original bluegrass band called mountain ruckus left in 2020 when the pandemic happened. Gary biscuit Davis is now or was playing at sky land ranch I have not saw any new videos if he is still there. But they finally brought back the pre show with all new band and making out like it’s brand new. They also now serve alcoholic drinks in the pre show.

Wow what a meal. I woud need a doggie bag. Nice show. Have a great night. Gold Bless.
We did have to get to go bags!
We took a baggie.
Great video of Dollywood but what happened to Thanksgiving ❤! Food looks good
Everything goes into Christmas mode on Nov 1st.
I once got my son one of those pop guns at Knotts Berry Farm and, yes, we did hear it the ENTIRE car ride home. 😆
👍
Which is better overall? Branson or pigeon forge for christmas? I
Have been to branson and LOVE it there!! Never been to pigeon forge.
We have only been to Branson/SDC for their Fall Festival. But we have heard their park is better decorated when it comes to Christmas. We were invited to a SDC event on Saturday but not sure if we can make it.
Glad to see a live show back in the carriage house saloon. Couldn't get a good look at the banjo player. Wasn't Gary Davis or someone else?
How much is the military discount?
The disappearing girl is actually fairly easy to figure out, yet still one of their more unique elements to the show. 😉👍
👍

We really hoping that yall recording the hole video
We had been asked to only show highlights & did our best to respect that request.
Food looked very good, the show's not for me though. Thanks for another good video, always informative as usual. 👍
Why did Stampede close in Orlando?
So, do they provide to go boxes or to go bags on the food?
Yes, they provide to go bags if you want them
When did they start using forks? It use to be no utensils at all.
We’re going back in December to see it! My wife has never been to the Smokies during Christmas! We’re very excited!! Thank you for the video Ryan!
Our pleasure, hope you guys have a great time in December!
any idea how strict they are on their cancelation policy?
Why did they change Skeeter?
was it cold inside the theatre?
We've been several times, and it's usually very comfortable temperature (I'd guess around 72 degrees?) inside the theatre - my son is always cold though, so he takes a hoodie.
We didn’t get cold.
Man I could use some food from DIXIE stampede right now.
Also did they get rid of the original bluegrass pickers in the pre show?

The food was great!
I'm still protesting.😊 They won't get my money until they return to original name. Dixie
Stampede.
