- Check out the newest Eachine Direct drive mini 3D rc helicopter, the all new Eachine E120S. It’s a brushless motor direct drive mini 3D RC helicopter in a budget designed for beginners. And that is why it can only handle mild 3D aerobatics, its not designed for hard aerobatics. Its very stable, easy to fly in 6G flight mode for beginners and in 3D mode you can pull soft 3D moves. You R the best ♥
Been here siens the start so I know :)
Wow, thanks!
Excellent video. You are a good pilot with lots of knowledge! I'm and old man, and a heli newb. I had been considering either this E120S or the E150. After much internal debate, I ordered my first collective pitch heli yesterday: the E120S RTF. Factors included cost (I know I'll crash a lot, so keep investment low), and the accessibility of the battery (less fidgeting around with the canopy between battery swaps). If I get better, I might upgrade to a E150, E180, or even E200 BNF. I still have lots to learn about the E6/X6 transmitter, curves, and all that. Gyro and Servo calibration and all that stuff too.
best of luck and have fun flying new helis :)
👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi sir perfect video, can you make a video to program the radio spektrum ? Thanks a lot
thanks but i can't i do not use spektrum
Excellent presentation and in detail explanation regarding this RC.
Your table is so colourful and nice to see. But I have one suggestion, Can you avoid the trees and soil as Helicopter background when flying? Because I can't see the helicopter properly in that time :)
Thanks brother. these helis are too small. even flying with a white or sky background they are difficult to see :)
👍😀
Nice video sir..support
Thanks and welcome
Good it very cool,in 2022 rc helicopters starting technology with direct drive ,it most powerful and good controls in wind 🌬
it sure is :)
2024 and I will buy this after I completed my Kyosho HOR build.
there will be better helis by then
@@alishanmao We'll see. Hoping at the same price point.
@@alishanmao What model please ?
About as peppy as the XK 120 which is now sadly discontinued but, this is cheaper & the battery's compartment is quite inovative & yeah , tail is coreless dont worry replacements will be affordable & after many Flights.
Thanks buddy
Hi Ali, nice flight as always... Trying to decide between the e120s and the k110s. Since you flew both, which one would you recommend to learn 3d? (durability, quality, flyability, etc.) Thanks a lot
If you want more stable 3D, its E120S, but if you want durability (because you will crash a lot hahaha) then K110S. rest is all up to you. remember, no matter how stable 3D a helicopter can do, a beginner will crash a lot
@@alishanmao Thanks a lot for your answer, will maybe go for the 110s because of the availability of spare parts. Thanks
Hi Alishan. Does the xk k130 perform better than this one? Which one of the two you would choose?
i would not go for that old obsolete heli. thats enough said buddy
Im bought today
Awesome. have fun
than i m the second one😍😍
good :)
Nice review Ali, I would love to have this model but here in Australia due to our low dollar It is a over valued. If our dollar value increases in the next month or two I could be tempted.
Sorry to hear that, every country seems to be facing troubles. from these man made pandemics designed to control us. and then when this did not work, they created war for their own benefits and that created again man made inflations and other issues. some are getting very rich doing so but what they do not know that their end is going to be miserable
@@alishanmao I do enjoy your reviews Ali, keep them coming.
Eachine e120s helicópter vs xk k110s helicópter those two helicopters are both for mild 3D
well said
I would really like your opinion on this if you feel up to it. I can only get one, E120S or the e160 V2. which would you recommend?
get the new GooSky S1 Legend. My flight video is coming soon
How would I use this with a Spektrum radio? I know your the man to ask! Oh or a Jumper T16s
you can use spektrum, you just need a satellite receiver to plug in the DSMX port then configure with your radio. if you have OpenTx multi protocol then just bind with SFHSS and set it up easily
Hi Ali, would you be able to do a short vid on setting up the tx16s for the e120s? Your radio setup vid is great for the goosky s2 and omp m1/m2 BUT the e120s uses 2 flight modes, not 3 and the supplied rtf radio has 2 switches ,a 2 fm switch and gyro switch. how do you set these up on the tx16s? help would be great
I flew E120S with same setup of mine that you have seen in my M2 Evo and Goosky S2 setup video. no issues. i just copied that model, bind it to radio, and it flies super nice.
@@alishanmao so what switch on the tx16s works the stability 6g mode? will 3 fm`s work on the e120s?
@@garymurphy5133 i use a 3 position switch to change flight modes from 6G, to idle up 1 and idle up 2. works like a charm.
@@alishanmao i have no idea how to set up the "stab" 6g mode.i can only use the 3 modes you show in your tx16s vid, what will make you "norm mode" activate 6g?
@@garymurphy5133 well if you followed my setup, in normal mode your heli is in 6G mode. and that is at the same time rescue mode. say if you are in idle up 1 and you make mistake, even if you are inverted, switching to normal mode will put the heli in auto level mode and it will auto flip back to normal if it was inverted.
With the omp m1 you can do also hard 3d!😂
yes
I just got my eachine e120s after watching your review, I took it for the first flight today and after landing on some grass I noticed the tail boom was loose ive tried to tighten the small Allen key but it seems not to tighten that much to the point that I can twist it fairy easily with 2 fingers , should it be like this ? Maybe it's like that so it doesn't brake I'm not shure
it should be tightened. should not twist or move.
@@alishanmao I think the small Allen head screw might have been over tighten from factory
@@markcalleja8463 check and fix, it should not move
flight time is too short, how can I upgrade? can you recommend a battery?
Its just like this. get more batteries
Hello, Ali, you are the first. Apparently Eachine is abandoning production of the E160, replacing it with the E120. In your opinion, does the E120 perform on par with the E160?
E160 is different category, also size is bigger. we can't compare it to this one. also this one is designed for only mild 3d and beginners scaled flights. E120s motor bogs if you do continuous aerobatics. E160 did not have that problem.
Shame it bogs a bit and has br tail motor not good combo. so i wud look at the 110s for price, but i really want a direct drive heli with bl tail. If e160 discontinuing i hope the next version will have all im looking for at a price under the current e150/180! I hope Eachine are listening😊 or for scale im keep coming back to the xk124 which has been tried and tested & has in my opinion slightly better tx?
Hi :D
For a long time, I have been watching these tiny RC helicopters. Now I am 35 years old and finally bought one. It cost €25! But it is fun all day long.
Now I know I want something bigger .... I watched YT all day about RC models (including your channel). And I'm not sure what to expect on a budget of € 100-200. I thought the second-hand market could be of help to me? How to do it?
P.S.
Sorry for my english, i'm polish and i live in germany. Have a nice Sunday!
Very cool! i suggest stay with smaller helis and practice more before getting in to bigger helis. wait a little more. scaled 450 size Huey UH-1 and FW450 V3 GPS helicopters are coming out soon. those will be best to move on to.
@@alishanmao Oh, these models will probably be too expensive for me. I found a used Flysky FS-i6 (55€) and thought to look for a used BNF helicopter. Unfortunately, the budget is limited and I can spend a maximum of around 200€. I wondered if this approach made any sense.
How is main shaft diameter?
3mm
Hi, Alishanmao der kleine Heli ist bei dem Hintergrund schlecht sichtbar! Danke 👍
it sure is, that is why we need to fly it close by :) i will try to find better background next time
question, could you swap out eachine e150 motor with ompohobby m1 motor, my eachine e150 crashed i fixed it now when you power it up it just spinning out of control, i will definitely stay away from eachine products omphobby only, you have a great day.
i believe you can't do that. they are very different.
@@alishanmao ok, thanks.
hi, why you fly so far away? i`v an lenovo t420 an i see only a black point on the screen
sorry bud, can't fly too close hahaha
Xk 110s vs 120s eachine ??
K110S is more durable, E120s is more stable and locked in for 3D compared to K110s
Yes, I think that to start 3d in helico rc the xk 110 and 110s are the best choice for beginners
The cut out of the canopy looks strange. I don't like, want a normal looking canopy.
just for easy installation and removal of battery
Usually Eachine tries to improve on currently existing helis. This thing looks like they took and E150, shrunk it down and added all of the things you wouldn't want. 😅
Half the reason for a canopy is to protect the battery. That flimsy balance plug is at even more risk without a nice firm full canopy. I can't believe they went back to a brushed tail motor in 2022. Might as well get an K110.
This was a good concept with poor execution.
K110s is more durable than this and does not bog down too LOL
Ich habe von bangood ein defekten eachine e120 bekommen. Leider fliegt er nicht 🤑🤬😭
Sorry to hear. hope they will replace it for you.
They must go Brushless on the tail thou... Will not be anny value otherwise..
well as far as it holds tail solid and keeps price low, its ok
That thing is old tech garbage! What a let down. Eachine should be ashamed of that heli.
😂 well people are still liking it, maybe because of the price?
@@alishanmao Most likely the reason but still...I really believed that Eachine would be past that by now. The fragile issue I get. Its the nature of the beast but a brushed tail motor?? This one just isn't for me on this round.
