Love the kz iems most of our church band have them now. One guy bought a pair for mowing the yard. We love them. I did upgrade to the kz10s it was worth the money for me.
Hey Jimmy! An option I have used for years if you don’t have the cable adjuster on your IEM’s is a plastic-covered twist tie! Twist it tight enough so it catches but loose enough to move. Simple solution any one can do!
I bought the KZ DQS and XVives…and the $20 KZ’s fit better, AND sound better! The cable is better, and-pro hack-use the black wire tie that they come packed in as a slider! (Wish I could add a pic). Anyhow, thanks for the recommendations. 🤘🤘
Re: construction noise: ear plugs are your best friend, especially the filtered kind so you can still communicate. Wear them every time you get on a jobsite.
@@aliweber3906 it's a midbass focus iem. You can feel the slam. I still think its underated. The detail and imaging is mediocre for its price and the treble need more smoothing. Fit is good for my ears.
@@aliweber3906 they are midbass focus iem meaning it have a very good slam. For the price I cant complain. The Resolution is not impressive but acceptable. The soundstage is cramped though. Not wide enough imo.

Hi, purchased these from Amazon yesterday 27th March 2024. I was initially disappointed as the lead was exceptionally short and had to sit next to my mixer to even plug them in and the lead was in front and not behind. On testing with no FX I found absolutely no Bass what so ever. They sounded very tinny , no bottom end at all.Considering the review I thought they were worth the punt. I will be returning them today. My A97 Pro buds sound 100% better and they are just buds and obviously can not use them for my music purposes. Also there is was no adaptor 3/4" in the box so had to use one I already had. As said for me they should at least come with a decent length cable before even starting on the rubbish sound. Sorry my honest opinion only. I know they are cheap and now I know why. I was trying to get away from my cans but it looks like I will be going back to them.
I love the KZ brand for in ears. I play bass at church and personally I would buy the ZST or ZSN. The DQS have a boost in the bass frequencies. They are not an accurate representation on the mix.
Also play bass. Which one works best for you and do they take the foam tips that fit on Shure buds? I prefer the longer tips that seal and get down in my ear as opposed to the short rubber ones that normally come with IEM's.
cryed a little wen you said that the mic isnt that good.. i would prefer one with mic wen in work i need to talk to other people.. would a kz ksn pro work well with mic??
If you think the DQS is good, in the "community" so to speak it's considered one of the poorer tuned ones. As far as KZ goes...the ZVX is vastly superior with less bloated bass and more controlled upper mids. For 5 bucks more that one utterly destroys the DQS in every facet. For a more balanced sound I personally own the tangzu wan'er and it is little short of being miraculously good. better sound reproduction than my full size over ear HD6XX. It's not the only one either. The truthear hola and 7hz zero are also very well received.
Hi Jimmy, I'm an amateur drummer and I'm hesitant about the BASN Master or the KZ Pro 10 , which one do you think I could choose. Thank you for your feedback Rui from Luxembourg (Small country in Europe)
Im a hitter too. You don't need more headroom. Get some foam tips for them. I have the KZ DQS and I use them 15% max of the volume on my Samsung phone with a cheap USB DAC for casual listening. But I also use them on 10% of the full volume with a DAC and Amp coming line out. There is plenty of headroom. I say they run well and only start getting muddy at 60% which is unbearably loud for periods of time. There are why better IEMs but I don't mind the DQS. It really depends on how I'm feeling on the day what IEMs I use. And what I'm playing. But really look at getting some nice memory foam tips. Will cut alot of the outside noise out. So you don't have to run the IEMs so hard.

Mid Bass is very good, well textured, quick transient response. It sounds to me like it extends into the lower mids a bit

Yep! just coil it around.
Or you just cut an unused tip in half and just use the tube part.

Re: construction noise: ear plugs are your best friend, especially the filtered kind so you can still communicate.
Wear them every time you get on a jobsite.
Don’t need a 3d printed clip. Use a bread twist wire and cut it with scissors to size. Works great.
I have only tried IEM once before, now i want to start with just budget stuffs first. Ill order these today and see how it goes..
I just got into iem and just ordered this today for my 1st iem. Excited to try em.

How is the sound isolation on these? Do they protect ears, even without anything playing through them?

What crazy about the bass that it has quantity and also quality bass,
very textured which is unbelievable for its price range.
I know! they're really great!
Do you need any special equipment? or can you use them with your phone or pc?
it just needs an 1/8th" jack to plug into

yes

is it a big deal getting the mic version ?
They don’t work well, at least with my inner set up because they are TRRS instead of TRS
How do they compare to 64 and Alclair, etc.?
I've never tried those more expensive brands...maybe one day

I use shure se215 as an inear monitor with the rock band. Can I use this cheap version live on stage?
Is it better than edx pro?
Only 10 left on Amazon. Had to get at least one pair before they all went away. They rarely restock cheap earbuds.
Do they work good for key players ?
Like changing keys?
What is the Best in ear for drummers?

I bought the dqs as my first iem2 weeks ago due to this video. Now its your responsibility to lead me to my 2nd pair that 60usd below budget. 😂😊
haha
Why is the headphone with microphone bad?
It’s a TRRS cable instead of a TRS cable and in my experience they do not work well with a personal monitor mixer
@@HeyWorshipLeader You're going to want to upgrade the crappy cable these come with anyway.
