      @GTS Smirking because he had to endure a hostile crowd for 5 hours, saved two championship points against one of the GOATs in a Grand Slam final, and still came out on top. But it's ok, stay pressed because Novak keeps beating your favourites.

    People talk about mental strength yeah Djokovic is great at it but one should not forget one doesn't win the match by pure mental strength. Djokovic suffocated Federer a lot in tie breaks by consistently targetting his relatively weaker backhand and remaining solid and hitting it with decent pace and open the court to hit a BHDTL which resulted in either a winner or Federer hitting it to the net.

    • @jovanbabovic9623

      actually, pure mental strenght is the key, especially in these kind of matches

      what about his mental approach and confidence to smash the ball on 40 : 15? Novak's game wasn't on his peek but mentally he was a giant.

      @dpa71999 4 года назад +8

      @@jovanbabovic9623 true mental strength is key or else Djokovic couldn't have played like he did in tie breaks without making errors and being consistent. What I wanted to point out was that people often don't realise his insane tennis IQ and how he goes about the rallies to win the point which is also important.

      ... Yes, I am a Federer fan. He did a hell of a lot for the tennis world, anyone who denies this is delusional. I have no idea where this idea comes from that liking a certain player is somehow a bad thing?

    Just imagine Novak smashed a ball at the line judge on 6-3, in the last tie-break and got defaulted- gosh I wish he had done that!

    Watching Nole mentally killing Federer and the crowd at Wimbledon always brings smile to my face. I would love another final like that, but I doubt Federer will go far this year.

    If Federer won
    Fedtards--he is still the goat at 38 age is just a number for Swiss master
    Federer loses
    Fedtards--he is 38 and still pushes to 5 sets and he is goat and age is just a number for Swiss master

    Roger or Rafa?I think roger should be given priority.Roger's lead in wimbledon should be given priority because it is most prestigious.Rafa is in lead at french open..but wimbledon should be given priority.

      No, Wimbledon of course is the most prestigious slam but it is still worth 1 slam only. Amount of slams is what matters most, where they're won is secondary.

      @@KMAlif11 It would have to be Rafa because he's won more slams (19 to 14) and he's won all the slams. Sampras never won the French.

      No. Roger is 0-3 in Wimbledon finals vs Djokovic. Djokovic with 5 titles and counting on grass is the King of SW19

    Though I am a big fan of Roger Federer like his any other fans world over, however, the truth remains that even the GOAT can usually miss on something, that too, in a very fast & furious manner. In fact, out of the reigning top tenners, Roger Federer is the only one who is most prone to shank the ball especially during clutch moments. Sharpen your skills on that front, too, Maestro...👆
