*LESS THE AMOUNT, higher the exchange rate. Lesser doesn’t mean less in English. Lesser refers to quality not quantity.( Exp. That is a lesser human or a lesser animal). You can say less it refers to quantity and it’s grammatically correct. This is a PSA to all Indians, don’t say “lesser” instead of less. And don’t say very less. Neither of these means more than less. Just say less and you’ll be fine. 😊
