If this helmet comes with and ECE CERTIFICATE then the price will be more than 20 k with all these features.
And its simple majority of people will not be willing to buy a 20 k helmet for a scooter.
( I won't even buy this helmet if i don't have an ather )
Yes i understand thats considered the best certification but what's the point if its expensive and cant be used with any other things accept ather.

@@aakashdimri9903 DOT is SHIT. The initial baseline for it was CAR HELMETS. Not bikes. No improvements in the DOT testing either but then again it's the USA who made it.
Ather should've bought these out as an intercom as a Tech first company. I can get a Sena Intercom for 8k and a good helmet with ECE 22.06 protection for 7k (Axor, MT, SMK,etc). Do better
The website says that it will get Ather ChitChat (helmet-to-helmet communication) and Music Sharing later this year via a software update.

Helmet is for road safety not for entertainment. It is always recommended to change helmet if it encounters any small crash so imagine changing this on Day 1 if unfortunately it crashes or falls down causing internal damage to the protective layer.

it's costlier, and I it will mostly survive a crash because it has a DOT. Certification which is much much better than India's isi certification
Even if it survives a crash you need to get a new helmet.
@hgc.gaming6297 lmao buddy you clearly have no knowledge about helmet certifications, DOT is a self atested certification. Meaning the manufacturer tests the helmet themselves and share those scores to get a certification, it is way less stringent and easy to manipulate. ISI on the other hand is just an ECE derivative certification, so it is more trust worthy. Also, people may think why would a manufacturer lie about safety of their helmet and it's simple since safety of a helmet depends on the materials used and those add to the cost of production, cutting materials and thus safety would mean more margin for the manufacturer. Also just by looking at the Halo helmet, it has no safety features that a 15k helmet should have, no Double D Ring locking mechanism, the padding used is soft (helmet padding is firm and always uncomfortable for a reason, to protect, absorb and distribute hard impacts), the jaw doesn't seem to have any padding or protection what so ever.
A blutooth neck band under the ( starts 250 rs ) will solve same purpose. No wireless charging for neck and nut it will be a big price difference.
DOT certifications is just as trash as ISI... Just coz it's an american certification, doesn't make it superior. it's actually shit. Watch Fortnine's video on it. If you're serious about getting a good helmet go for ECE certification minimum.

Forward collision warning, Lane departure warning, Blind spot monitoring, Navigation, Heads Up Display, Weather Alert, Cooling gel, etc are all features that can be integrated for it to be a real smart helmet!

What kind of smart feature are on this helmet? So far it's just built in intercom with wireless charging helmet.
I think for family scooter atleast 2 members plus children will ride, number of person increases so battery percentage will get reduce soon, means low range and even if we charge our smart helmet it will also consume battery.
I mean to say ather should have given bigger battery pack 4kw or more than that instead of 2.9 or 3.7.
And one more thing I need more range so I will select top model with 3.7kw battery but I don't want touch screen , so my suggestion there should be one more warranty of ather rizta with 3.7kw battery with tft display without touch.

Well on the roads we want proper safety in our helmets first, entertainment comes last..
In busy indian roads we’d want our ears open and be able to focus on the road, not on distracting songs..

I am using vega evo bluetooth helmet.For using this helmet we have buy the two wheeler also 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.This helmet cost will be around 3-4k but bike cost 1.3-1.5L nice business strategy but won't work for middle class people.

Why do you need sound inside a helmet. Its so distracting while driving and a safety hazard.
Taking calls should never be enabled during a ride. If Ather isn't disabling it during a ride, it's a huge concern for road safety.
