The step-by-step process is the absolute best I’ve ever seen. The way your graphics trace the map is something else no other strategy builders guide I’ve ever seen does
If you're having trouble with the wrong warp try teleporting to the Castleward Tunnel site of grace. It loads slower than the round table allowing you more time. PS: When wrong warping if you end up at the grace you were at before you quit out you did it too fast. And if you end up at the grace you were teleporting to you did it too slow. That should help you learn the timing of it faster.
@@ThatOneWierdlyPerson closing the app is alt+F4 so my guess to do this on xbox even tho i havent used one in ages would be to pop the xbox menu and force quit the app, this the closest thing to an alt+f4 that comes to mind

If you are on PS5 you have to hold down the PS button as soon as u hit ok to travel to the RT..right after count to 4 ..took a couple of tries but i was there and i now have the bolt of gransax
Great video, but waste of time, gets you on well with the early game but then you need to pay $ on your patreon to access the late game stats and build changes. Maybe start by mentioning this point so people don’t waste time watching all this just to have no clue how the remainder of the build works late game without paying for it with $. Knowing this, I won’t be wasting anymore time watching your build videos and maybe this helps others out when there’s 1000’s of free build vids all over YT and online. All the best.

Loved this guide and I already have 950 hours in ER. I will say that as I followed your guide exactly, getting the Lighting charm out of Windham was very tricky. I would argue just a slight counter to your point about not needing skill in ER to follow this guide. Was lots of fun and learned alot, those runes add up. Can't see using spear long term as the melee damage is just meh. Thank you so much for sharing this as it was tons of fun to follow along.
Great video, especially the second time. I followed along with this and had a blast. This is fun to play and very powerful. I hadn’t tried a ranged build before and am glad I did.
Great walkthrough. It forced me to learn how to jump while running (tap "jump" while still holding down "run"; the trick for me was to jump a step before the edge of the gazebo--if you wait until reaching the edge you'll still be on the rise when you reach the wall, and won't have enough height to step onto the ledge). This is my fifth Souls game and I didn’t know that I didn’t know how to jump, nor how to quick-exit the game (alt-F4). I like having the spear but tiny-regret that I leveled it to +9, which makes free co-op matching impossible. (I’m not using the buffs yet.) I was amusing myself with nonstop low level co-op in Limgrave and Caelid but that’s dried up and I’m on my own again until level 120-ish. Ah well, time to take on Stormveil and then move on with my new poky toy. I just 5-shot Margit while he was still chattering about something. Thank you.
After a few hours of failing the wrong warp on ps5, I went and fought the erdtree avatar west of Liurnia and got the ruptured crystal tear for the wondrous physick. And found you can go down the elevator behind the site of grave when teleported by the trap chest. by timing the activation of the potion and the fall down to the bottom of the elevator just right. You explode and get pushed against the wall which makes sure you take less fall damage. And then from there you’re going to have to find your way over to the gransax spear. But activate the elevator as soon as you’re able to get down there. So you can go back down if you die from any enemies you run into

to everyone who plays on console ps5 specifically i recommend just keep trying dont get stressed out, lay back and just keep closing it, with how fast the roundtable loads i recommend quitting straight away and understanding how fast you need to close, if your still at where you originally were it means you did it too soon, if your at the roundtable you did it too late, its a matter being really accurate but as long as you don’t stress you will eventually get it like i did
Wrong Warp to Leyndell still works after patch, I tried many times and failed, it worked the first time when I rested at the site of grace till morning (doesn’t really matter just rest), and get up from the site of grace, I couldn’t make it while being sit. Maybe you can and I just hit the right timing. Had alt pressed and my finger on f4, since my PC was loading at lightning speed I hit f4 as soon as it started to move but by the time I actually pressed it it was like 80% of the bar full.

I am just too slow to get that wrong warp to fly on XBox. If it did NOT have an SSD, my geriatric reactions would stand a chance. Managed a couple of the others in the past, but now it’s me that’s past it. 😂 Would have loved to try that Granseax out. Enjoyed the video, and was shocked by how many of those coins I had missed on my way through the game previously. Plus a couple of keys I didn’t know existed. ❤ May have to hit a wiki and get a list of them all. PS: the beast repelling torch was a great idea! I will keep that handy for the rest of my own setup, but I’ll have to do it the hard way now.
I started the build and I didn't realised how disapointing Bolt of Gransax was until i upgraded it, the fucking red lighting weapon doesn't scale with faith.... wtf

for anyone having trouble on console, this is what i did i teleported to the table regularly (dont close) and as soon as u hit okay to go start a stop watch on your phone… as soon as it gets to 99% loading stop the timer… that time is when your gonna close the application… for me on ps5 it was 2.97…
folloowing the guide and just got gransax. In the well with the imps took so long for me. the iomps would take 3 bolts to kill and that is three chances to fall off the pipes each.

I have to hit my ps5 button, then go to home screen select options to quit game. by the time I do all this, I am way to late. I am wondering if it is a configurations issue OR if there is an easier way to power off my ps5 that I do not know about. Hopefully you see this post. Thanks.
Is the wrong warp patched?? Forget what I said 😅 I frickn did it!!! Had to figure out the timing myself cos I couldn't see the loading bar but it's done 😁
you missed the point, this is how to get all those runes without killing any bosses. You cannot farm that bird without killing bosses and doing Varres questline. Obviously the bird farm is the best midgame farm, has been since day 1.

Yo. The detailing on the golden runes is a little too much... The route on the other hand is excellent! I dont do the quit out to enter leyndell but just get taunter tongue invaded. Some nice folk will always come and bring me the elevator xD Great video and nice and easy buff routine without much hassle!
This is unworkable on my PC (5800x3D / 4080). I've tried both Round Table & Castleward Tunnel as destinations for the wrong-warp - I gave each one 15 tries - I always ended up where I started or at the destination. The time for that 80-95% on my machine is probably less than 1/10 of a second. If it were a smooth transition I could maybe time it, but it pauses (slows down) near 70% creeps forward (and I've tried cancelling during that and then I have about 1/10 of a second before it hits 99% where it pauses briefly - Maybe if I spend the next few days trying to anticipate the right moment - but I'm not going to do that. I can get into the capital faster by killing the Boss guarding the door. Kind of sad - this looked promising.
Uh question what would be the best way to get op with lighting builds because I followed this guide and now I’m strong but I wanna get stronger and be able to do like 3k with the bolt (I’m leve 250 and I need a end game version of this guide :>)

If you went all the way to 200, I would hit softcaps for vigor dex and faith, so 60v 80dex 80faith, then whatever endurance you need for decent armor and then mind for convenience
This weapon kind of does my head in, as the weapon ash of war doesn't scale with FAI & there isn't a Sacred Seal that scales with DEX (aside from the Frenzied Flame Seal, which scales poorly in general). Even at level 200 where you could hit the soft caps for both DEX and FAI, there is no synergy and you would need to significantly sacrifice VIG, MND, and/or END. Another way to approach it would be to pump DEX up to 80 and STR up to 50 or so, then leave FAI at 33 to use the buffs. This would mean you would only use FAI for buffs, as it would be too low for offensive incantations. It might look something like this: VIG 50 MND 25 END 25 STR 50 DEX 80 INT 9 FAI 33 ARC 7
@@jamesocallaghan2699 I'm pretty sure we will get a dex-scaling seal since even strength builds have so why would Fromsoft leave dex out of the party? For this build I went the faith-path instead of dex, so the final version would be: Vig: 50 Mind: 27 End: 24 Str: 20 Dex: 60 Int: 7 Faith: 80 Arc: 11 With 2 gravelstone seals, night's cavalry armor, okina mask and of course, Bolt of Gransax. Talismans: - flock's canvas - Lightning Scorpion Charm - Godfrey's icon - Alexander's charm So it's an offensive lightning build. What do you think about it?
@@GitGudGoblin looks good. The advantage doing it your way is that you can really use the lightning incantations with FAI that high. The weapon is also very usable with these stats. Enjoy!
Really cool and helpful video but 70% of it is collecting runes. In my opinion that makes the video longer and a bit boring. I think farming runes via greyoll is way quicker and efficient. Thank you and looking forward to see better content. ⭐️

Ive followed every step of this video and im not doing near the same damage you are. Imps take 2-3 bolts, the knight in the tomb took 5 shots, the erdtree avatar is being tickled.
Well filming this route the first time will not be a good indicator. I re ran several areas over 10 times to optimize. But it shouldn’t take you more than an hour or 2
I'm at windham, and I am pretty sure I have followed your guide to a T. I don't one-shot the imps. They still have a small amount of health left. I double checked the stats and ours are the same. Also on the pipes before runes 6 and 7 the Imps took less damage and did not get knocked off the pipes as easily. Any thoughts on why?
ps5 player keep trying, itll work, like the comments say if you end up at the round table you did it too late, if you end up at the divine bridge you did it too early. theres not an easy way to tell genuinely just keep trying and youll get it
Is there a way to get to the rest of Leyndell without the wrongwarp (and withou having to progress the game normally)? It's a bit too exploit-y for me.

i am having troubles with the lyndell teleport glitch. i have attempted this 15 times following the instructions in the comments, and the video but it hasnt worked fully. whenever i try and i perfectly get it on the 100% line it just teleports me back to the divine bridge.
Okay, first of all. This video is for players who have minimum 500h in game. Second, if i wanna follow ur path i need to know the whole thing about the game. Third. 8:12 this is impossible! My game is load under 2 second (1:32)...I've currently reached the 8th minute in about 2 hours... I think I've played the game for 10-15 hours, but I've had enough for a lifetime... it looks really good, super spectacular, but unplayable like this. Thank you for the video.
1. not really i made this entire build and i only have about 20 hrs of total playtime on another char. 2. no, i started with the entire map locked and was still able to do this perfectly find. 3. thats really a you problem tbh, my internet/loading time is pretty fast and i was still able to do it

For those struggling with the warp open task manager and I overlayed the loading bar with the end task button to help time it. Took me 2 tries

I started the build and I didn't realised how disapointing Bolt of Gransax was until i upgraded it, the fucking red lighting weapon doesn't scale with faith.... wtf
It seems very inconvenient to rely on on the physick to use the spear. What's the duration on that? Does it really last the whole dungeon?
it's 3 minutes, more than long enough to get us to the point in the guide where you no longer need the flask to use the spear, only 1 or 2 areas do we do that

for anyone having trouble on console, this is what i did
i teleported to the table regularly (dont close) and as soon as u hit okay to go start a stop watch on your phone… as soon as it gets to 99% loading stop the timer… that time is when your gonna close the application… for me on ps5 it was 2.97…
4:12 she makes jumping on trees so easy. Yet when I do it, it feels like the trees have ice on them, and I slip off.
Also if on ps5 push and hold the "home" button then start then X
folloowing the guide and just got gransax. In the well with the imps took so long for me. the iomps would take 3 bolts to kill and that is three chances to fall off the pipes each.

@@EmberBorne Is there a way to configure your ps5 to power off, when you hit the ps5 button? I've been trying to do this warp for an hour with no luck. I have to hit my ps5 button, then go to home screen select options to quit game. by the time I do all this, I am way to late. I am wondering if it is a configurations issue OR if there is an easier way to power off my ps5 that I do not know about. Hopefully you see this post. Thanks.

you missed the point, this is how to get all those runes without killing any bosses. You cannot farm that bird without killing bosses and doing Varres questline. Obviously the bird farm is the best midgame farm, has been since day 1.

Yo. The detailing on the golden runes is a little too much... The route on the other hand is excellent! I dont do the quit out to enter leyndell but just get taunter tongue invaded. Some nice folk will always come and bring me the elevator xD

This is unworkable on my PC (5800x3D / 4080). I've tried both Round Table & Castleward Tunnel as destinations for the wrong-warp - I gave each one 15 tries - I always ended up where I started or at the destination. The time for that 80-95% on my machine is probably less than 1/10 of a second. If it were a smooth transition I could maybe time it, but it pauses (slows down) near 70% creeps forward (and I've tried cancelling during that and then I have about 1/10 of a second before it hits 99% where it pauses briefly - Maybe if I spend the next few days trying to anticipate the right moment - but I'm not going to do that. I can get into the capital faster by killing the Boss guarding the door.
Kind of sad - this looked promising.

The skip to leyendell still works after the DLC Patch. you might need a few trys. just execute a fast alt+f4 between 80-100% of the loading bar

What are the suggested stats for a RL200 char?
If you went all the way to 200, I would hit softcaps for vigor dex and faith, so 60v 80dex 80faith, then whatever endurance you need for decent armor and then mind for convenience

This weapon kind of does my head in, as the weapon ash of war doesn't scale with FAI & there isn't a Sacred Seal that scales with DEX (aside from the Frenzied Flame Seal, which scales poorly in general). Even at level 200 where you could hit the soft caps for both DEX and FAI, there is no synergy and you would need to significantly sacrifice VIG, MND, and/or END.
Another way to approach it would be to pump DEX up to 80 and STR up to 50 or so, then leave FAI at 33 to use the buffs. This would mean you would only use FAI for buffs, as it would be too low for offensive incantations. It might look something like this:
VIG 50
MND 25
END 25
STR 50
DEX 80
INT 9
FAI 33
ARC 7

I'm pretty sure we will get a dex-scaling seal since even strength builds have so why would Fromsoft leave dex out of the party?
For this build I went the faith-path instead of dex, so the final version would be:
Vig: 50
Mind: 27
End: 24
Str: 20
Dex: 60
Int: 7
Faith: 80
Arc: 11
With 2 gravelstone seals, night's cavalry armor, okina mask and of course, Bolt of Gransax.
Talismans:
- flock's canvas
- Lightning Scorpion Charm
- Godfrey's icon
- Alexander's charm
So it's an offensive lightning build.
What do you think about it?
@@GitGudGoblin looks good. The advantage doing it your way is that you can really use the lightning incantations with FAI that high. The weapon is also very usable with these stats.

Really cool and helpful video but 70% of it is collecting runes. In my opinion that makes the video longer and a bit boring. I think farming runes via greyoll is way quicker and efficient. Thank you and looking forward to see better content. ⭐️
Yeah we just wanted to give another cool option that hasn't been done before. A lot of people fine greyoll boring so this would be a bit more engaging of a run
Ive followed every step of this video and im not doing near the same damage you are. Imps take 2-3 bolts, the knight in the tomb took 5 shots, the erdtree avatar is being tickled.

depends on how you play it. Not very long if you just run past everything picking up runes

Well filming this route the first time will not be a good indicator. I re ran several areas over 10 times to optimize. But it shouldn’t take you more than an hour or 2

Did this thing get nerfed? I'm not doing the damage she's doing. Killing things in two shots instead of one.
I'm at windham, and I am pretty sure I have followed your guide to a T. I don't one-shot the imps. They still have a small amount of health left. I double checked the stats and ours are the same. Also on the pipes before runes 6 and 7 the Imps took less damage and did not get knocked off the pipes as easily. Any thoughts on why?

ps5 player keep trying, itll work, like the comments say if you end up at the round table you did it too late, if you end up at the divine bridge you did it too early. theres not an easy way to tell genuinely just keep trying and youll get it

Definitely possible, the timing is just not as super simple as PC, I do it on ps5 the same way all the time, just close the application while loading

does anybody know how you should specifically close the game during the false teleport on pc (altF4, close window, task manger, etc) I have been trying it for a while but don’t know if it works🧍♂️
If you're having trouble with the wrong warp try teleporting to the Castleward Tunnel site of grace. It loads slower than the round table allowing you more time. PS: When wrong warping if you end up at the grace you were at before you quit out you did it too fast. And if you end up at the grace you were teleporting to you did it too slow. That should help you learn the timing of it faster.
just exit using alt f4 when are at 99%
i am having troubles with the lyndell teleport glitch. i have attempted this 15 times following the instructions in the comments, and the video but it hasnt worked fully. whenever i try and i perfectly get it on the 100% line it just teleports me back to the divine bridge.

Okay, first of all. This video is for players who have minimum 500h in game. Second, if i wanna follow ur path i need to know the whole thing about the game. Third. 8:12 this is impossible! My game is load under 2 second (1:32)...I've currently reached the 8th minute in about 2 hours... I think I've played the game for 10-15 hours, but I've had enough for a lifetime... it looks really good, super spectacular, but unplayable like this. Thank you for the video.
1. not really i made this entire build and i only have about 20 hrs of total playtime on another char. 2. no, i started with the entire map locked and was still able to do this perfectly find. 3. thats really a you problem tbh, my internet/loading time is pretty fast and i was still able to do it
