I had the pleasure of having the 40mm Yacht-Master on my wrist for a while, borrowed from my father, and i loved how the oyster flex bracelet feel, and how the watch matches almost every occasion. I actually would have loved the 37mm as it is more my size preference. I would choose the 37mm. Thanks Tim for the great share. Best, Abdul
Hi Tim, in Maui during my wedding anniversary, I bought my wife the 37 and I got the 40. A his and hers thing going. A big shout out to Spensor the owner of the Rolex AD shop in Maui. Great guy, gave us a great discount and even sends cards or personal phone calls just to check up on us. We both love our Everose YM's. They are not too blingy like a lot of solid gold Rolex models. The black strap and black bezel subdues the bing, you just get a coppery fire flash of gold through all that black....pure class!
If I had to chose it would be the 37 but thankfully I won’t have to since I just purchased a 36 mm Oyster Perpetual. Wonderful watch with excellent proportions and a stunning blue dial.
Unfortunately, did not have the pleasure of trying either of those, however 37 is probably my kind of size. But I'd go for steel with rhodium dial and turquoise accenting. I think this is great sub alternative.
I’m 13 and I might get this should I get the small type? I would probably go with the 37 it would probably with me better with a med if not I’ll Return and get a better size
You can change the strap in or out by up to 1/3 inch in or out. Look under inside the watch where the click is at you can remove the pin and adjust more or less
I know this is an unpopular opinion but I think Rolex should bump all of Yachtmaster I watches to 39mm and 42mm. Also they should ship these out to dealers larger quantities. They can keep all the "true" sport watches rare but these would be more readily available and not selling for above retail.
Hi what sizes are available for the bracelet? Tried a 40mm and was only just big enough and the AD couldn’t tell me if there was a larger size...not very good. Also not quite sure about a gold Rolex on a rubber(covered) bracelet shouldn’t it be all gold? Anyway while saving up I’m waiting to see if the YM get a movement upgrade before going ahead. Like the idea of 3235 upgrade.
I'm not even sure why this is a versus. Obviously, pick the one that matches your wrist size. But just know that in reality the vast majority of men will gravitate towards the 40mm, as this is considered the optimum size for a modern sports watch (think Sub, GMT Master etc). So if you do buy the 37mm, expect to sell it for less down the road.
Mmmm decisions decisions. Only Mosso would do somewhat twins on the outside. 🤔🤔🤔 Well for the most part. 37 is too small so I'll go 40. Does size matter? Personal perception. Pebbly?
No. Smaller watches have a restraint, dignity and class on men. Oversized watches are for men compensating for their insecurities. Of course, you don’t want to go too small. But 36mm is a very classic men’s size. Even 34mm can work. Just get what fits you and your personality.

Discount??
37 all the way! I have a 36.25mm Omega Seamaster and love its discrete vintage and modern look at the same time!
I don't know, when I tried the 37 it felt so small, and I've small wrists. So I got the 40.
If I had to chose it would be the 37 but thankfully I won’t have to since I just purchased a 36 mm Oyster Perpetual. Wonderful watch with excellent proportions and a stunning blue dial.
Pretty 😍 The smaller one looks great on your wrist. 37 for me, I have a 6.5 inch wrist
Unfortunately, did not have the pleasure of trying either of those, however 37 is probably my kind of size. But I'd go for steel with rhodium dial and turquoise accenting. I think this is great sub alternative.
The Yacht Master is my favorite Rolex. I sure the 37mm is too small for my wrist so the 40 would be my choice. Nice versus Tim.
Good honest comparo Tim. I knew from the start you favour the YM37, but you sang the praises of the 40 very well. I'm torn between the two!
Have to give both their just due!
Thanks for watching!

If I was in my 20s I would have gone for the 40 but now that I am in my 30s, I favour a more discreet look.
I'm in my 20s lol I enjoy 36 and 37, I will do 40 on sport models like daytona and such. But rocking 37 🤙
I’ve just purchased the 37mm 🙏😎
How do you like it?
I've recently got the 40mm (1166555) to add to my collection. It is so beautiful!
I'm a huge fan but the 40 has to be my pick. Considering I'm 6'4 that might be the better choice. They both are great though.
Don’t really know where to get this now! Been contacting many rolex boutiques and dealerships but all I get is no and sorry. Any tip or advice?
grey market.
37 ! Vintage rep of new tech watch 👌🏻
There is a glidelock system you can fine tune the length substantially without any tools... I can see the glidelock clearly
The glidelock was not included at that time for those models I’m the video. The current models however have glidelock.
I’m 13 and I might get this should I get the small type? I would probably go with the 37 it would probably with me better with a med if not I’ll Return and get a better size
Huh 😂🤣
That 40mm could be my grail. Absolutely love it.
I'm late, but it was mine and finally got it. Zero regrets. (116655)
I am a shorter guy, so 37mm would look more suitable I guess . 😁🙏
the 37 is stunning , if it was on a bracelet id buy one tomorrow . If I want a watch on a rubber strap it has to be an Aquanaut.
You can get it on a bracelet, platinum or two-tone.
@@dk2853 the 37mm ... that would help ... if that's the case I would be very tempted. But it was really a rose gold one I would have liked .
37 fits me best
37 definitely my choice. It sets it apart from the Submariner, and looks lovely. I might pick one up as the prices come down.
Very nice watch....great review as usual....does it come in white gold vs rose?
I have the 37 mm and love it.
It sort of reminds me of a more beautiful version of the Turn O Graph.
I would tske the 40 simply because i have a big enough wrist to sport it and also i prefer the bezel to watch ratio better on the 40
what is the lug width on the 40 mm one ?
Damn! I love these watches. I haven't tried on the 37mm yet, but with an 18.5cm wrist, not sure it would work for me. Excellent comparison 👍.
I'd love to see a review of Yachmaster 37mm ref. 268622
The 40 is big but a beautiful piece. I have the 40 and it a very nice piece. The bracelet is very comfortable.
How do you adjust it
When you order it they measure your wrist and they provide the proper bracelet. They have different sizes.
You can change the strap in or out by up to 1/3 inch in or out. Look under inside the watch where the click is at you can remove the pin and adjust more or less
What is the QR code on the side of the case for? Does it come off?
Yes, it's just a sticker. Brand new Rolex watches straight from sn AD would have them. Cheers!
super watches and great sizes. Both and give the 37mm to girlfriend.
Why shoot so close???
I know this is an unpopular opinion but I think Rolex should bump all of Yachtmaster I watches to 39mm and 42mm.

Gorgeous watch the size it’s personal wrist size choice personally never liked the rubber strap
Gorgeous watches, but expensive for rubber. Anyways, TIM, you’ve never done a review for the 114060!!!! GET ON THAT PLEASE!
doesnt the 40 also ahve a silicnion hair spring ?
37mm, that's a no brain'r
Love your vids Tim M. !
The 37 is next on my list. It's perfect for Asian size wrist which I have.
37mm, for decades, was the men's standard. All this 40+mm.... nahhh
God you're going to look "special" with a 37mm diver watch on your wrist, the bezel counts in that measurement, the watch is going to look like a toy
Hi what sizes are available for the bracelet? Tried a 40mm and was only just big enough and the AD couldn’t tell me if there was a larger size...not very good. oh now you're telling rolex how to make watches huh? better leave that to the professionals.
If you have to 'save up', you shouldn't be buying this Rolex.
37
Well, can’t say that the 37 is technologically superior anymore. They all have the 3235 movement now.
Very nice

40 but with the pave dial!!
Nice
You can
Mmmm decisions decisions. Only Mosso would do somewhat twins on the outside. 🤔🤔🤔 Well for the most part. 37 is too small so I'll go 40. Does size matter? Personal perception. Pebbly?
40
a lot of people say 36mm is for ladies is it?
syid faran no it is not!
syid faran in recent years, wearing oversized watch is actually a dying trend, which was truly an unfortunate mistake to begin with.
Yes
use your brain and intuition to arrive at an answer.
No. Smaller watches have a restraint, dignity and class on men. Oversized watches are for men compensating for their insecurities. Of course, you don’t want to go too small. But 36mm is a very classic men’s size. Even 34mm can work. Just get what fits you and your personality.
I voted with my wallet and got the 40
Dammit the more I look at them the more I want to buy them but that would be all my money 😭
any ladies out there with the 37?
You know punctuation is there for a reason (ie. for a slight pause). Think that make your narrative a lot better!
I would take the 40mm, men's size
obese men's size
37mm, men’s size
If you get the 37 ppl would just think you couldn’t afford the 40 😂
37 all day long. They are getting too big
nb. I think 40mm is a small watch, below that we're in ladies territory.
