2010 my best friend one day out of the blue decided to make me dance with her to this song, it quickly became one of her favorite songs. I don’t remember the dance, just the moment and that I let her lead since I couldn’t dance. Then, she told me “I’ll never forget this moment.” I wish I could say that I don’t shed tears when I hear this song, but it’s one of my happiest memories from a simpler time. RIP Melissa. I was 27 years old the summer this album came out. I played it nonstop back then. I am now 40. TIME FLIES. I remember seeing them on tour performing this song and other tracks from Wild Young Hearts live in New York City later that same year. Jamie (the drummer) was still performing with the group in live shows, but he left the group a few months later. "Never forget" the memories. I also saw them live during the What's The Time Mr Wolf tour with the Maccabees in NYC, 2007.
I was in New York when this album came out . I loves it so much . I always used to sing this song .when my 13 year old daughter passed in 2021 hear it in Jamaica on the radio and started crying because I know it's a sign from her telling me she will never forget me when I was feeling so sad . I was working out in a gym around 2012 and they had a track in which I ran. This gym always played very mundane pop hits usually. But then this song came on and I had to take a break to listen to it because I thought it was a 60s song I had never heard before. I was puzzled the whole day. This was years before I had apps like Shazam. I made it a point to memorize the melody because I loved it so much. it took me a few more days to locate the song name and artist. In any case, I love it. It’s such a beautiful throwback song.

Tiktokers usually cut off songs and it changes the meaning, sometimes they even change the lyrics and gives the original songs well, a different meaning. So the songs get popular not because they have great lyrics, great story, etc. They will also be remembered as"that one tiktok song" and be forgotten after the trend.

I was working out in a gym around 2012 and they had a track in which I ran.
This gym always played very mundane pop hits usually. But then this song came on and I had to take a break to listen to it because I thought it was a 60s song I had never heard before.
I was puzzled the whole day.
This was years before I had apps like Shazam.
I made it a point to memorize the melody because I loved it so much.
it took me a few more days to locate the song name and artist.

My best friend of 18 years and I are graduating college in a year. After that, we'll go our separate ways and live our dreams on our own. Without her, I wouldn't have survived college. This reminds me of my best friend of 8 years. We’re off to college next year and our plans are different. I also wouldn’t have survived the last couple years without her but she doesn’t consider me her best friend and it’s a sucky feeling knowing someone is more important to you than you are to them. It’s stupid but I’ve been distancing myself from her that way it won’t hurt as much when we inevitably grow apart and stop talking.

Tiktokers usually cut off songs and it changes the meaning, sometimes they even change the lyrics and gives the original songs well, a different meaning. So the songs get popular not because they have great lyrics, great story, etc. They will also be remembered as"that one tiktok song" and be forgotten after the trend.
I listen to punk, math rock, power pop, and noise rock. Out of ignorance and the standard lazy brand loyalty of people like me, I usually ignore the radio. But my attention was earned by this gem. Amazing song!
