Very useful even if it is over 7 years old I am 69 just been diagnosed with prostate cancer and in a couple of weeks will be having brachy therapy which is where they inject radioactive pellets into the prostate that stay there forever . I have localised contained cancer. I chose this option because it was a one day procedure as opposed to a course of 6 months hormone treatment to reduce the testosterone level then a course of one month of daily external radiation treatment. Apparently the 2 treatment options have equal success rate so it looked like a no brainer decision .
