the guy who couldn't handle the spice is hilarious "let's yeet that in" "you're from the caribbean, mate. that doesn't mean anything, but that's my excuse" "i'm just being nice" "my boobs are sweating"
I know what he is feeling. For me, it is the addiction of taking in more servings despite its spiciness. It is like having a comfort food, considering in my culture, spicy foods is a condiment to bland or soupy foods. When I first try the Fiery Chicken Instant noodle from Samyeong, Cheese flavour(more spicer than the original), its like I can't stop taking it in.
The genuine willingness to try and respectfully giving their input is fantastic to see. Leaving the tidbit of the leftovers being put into the containers really brings me joy. There is no waste and these men want more.

I love watching this. It's such a good collaboration. I hope they will allow new recipes in the mess hall for soldiers to enjoy (because dishes like this it so simple and easy to make and you can do a massive pot to feed quite a lot of people. There always gonna be someone who can't handle spicy food but having spicy food actually helps the body and their immune system to combat various viruses and diseases which I believe is vital role in a military force)

I've watched this a couple of times and I still find it nice that some of the guys got empty containers and took the leftover so they can eat it later. Can't blame them, I love Korean Army Base Stew myself. I put everything in it except baked beans lol and double the cheese 😅😅
the beans give the soup some body and thickens it a little, its good
I thought so too, but I also thought maybe it was for others in the army that weren't in the video lol
yea I loved that haha
I eat buddae jjigae all the time and I’ve never seen beans in it
the guy who couldn't handle the spice is hilarious "let's yeet that in" "you're from the caribbean, mate. that doesn't mean anything, but that's my excuse" "i'm just being nice" "my boobs are sweating"
He's cute too lol
Please include him in future videos hahahaah
I know what he is feeling. For me, it is the addiction of taking in more servings despite its spiciness. It is like having a comfort food, considering in my culture, spicy foods is a condiment to bland or soupy foods. When I first try the Fiery Chicken Instant noodle from Samyeong, Cheese flavour(more spicer than the original), its like I can't stop taking it in.

I dunno why, but I REALLY love when you take the food to Maj Charles and his army base. There's a special magic about seeing these hardened military types (my entire family is generations upon generations of military, so they're my kind of nostalgia) eating food I grew up with, and seeing them brought to tears. I LOVE it. Even when they're not crying from the spiciness, but just genuinely enjoying it, I feel warm and fulfilled watching them. Thank you, Josh and Ollie (and Major Charles and all his men)! I hope to see many more of these episodes on the army base.
