Who’s your fave in the scene?
Yes
They are equally fantastic actors. Performing that emotional scene must have used up a lot of energy for both of them.
Hank
They actually had to glue some of Hank's stubble on his face for the scene
Both
Hairdresser did an awesome job with this scene
lmao
Didn't you see that they are bald?
@jameswilliamsjr7279 LOL
@jameswilliamsjr7279 I believe the comments supposed to be ironic
@jameswilliamsjr7279galaxy brain moment
The garage door closing is a metaphor for a garage door closing.
1:28
Spent all day searching the comments for an explanation, thank you.
Vravo Bince
That is exact moment when garage door became closed
jajajajajajajaja
Poor Walter. How does Hank dare to accuse him of being Heisenberg. We all know that Sargent Doakes is Heisenberg
Surprise, mutherfker!
And Doakes wil surely pin it on poor Dexter accusing him of being a drug Kingpin. Classic Doakes. Aka Bay Harbor Butcher/Heisenberg
Surprise Heisenberer!
What’s really funny is that clowns like you find this nonsense humorous. Sense of humor like a 6 year old.
Man the bar really get set lower and lower. "oooooooo, this is the part I made a reference oooooooooo, bravo Vince hehehehe me so funny" . Have some originality, use some Gray Matter.
*_"IT WAS YOU!? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WAS BREAKING BAD?"_*
He didn’t say that.
@ancientalemanni inb4 this flies over someone's head
@ancientalemanni bot
MY OWN BROTHER IN LAW! METHING THE DEA!
...Say that again?
The acting from Hank is so damn good
Yeah especially the last 30 or 40 seconds, both of them so fraught with emotion, just masterwork
@ and the spit coming form hanks mouth as he gritting his teeth and yelled at Walt. Was amazing work.
@oldmillerfarmi still get emotional whenever I see hank after watching breaking bad the first time. i have seen this series 3 times now
Actually, the acting is from Dean Norris, not Hank
It's unrealistic
"You're Heisenberg"
- "It's about time, I hinted at it like a dozen times!"
✋😔✋ you got me
Haaaa I understood that reference
Such an Anakin & Palpatine moment in many ways, at least from the perspective of the audience. Hank knew that Pinkman was peddling the blue ice and knew that Walt has a connection to Pinkman, and even had the whole W.W. note from the Gale, the guy Hank thought might be Heisenberg.
He's slow, ok???
"Maybe I am. Maybe not."
“Then maybe your best course, would be to tread lightly… uh can you please open the garage door tho?”
Oh man, you are totally right🤣🤣
The front door still exists 😅!
Open na noor
@gibson-jkall that and you think he gonna let him walk through his house…no sir 😂😂😂😂
The moment he closed the garage door I remember having to pause the show because of how intense it was lmao
you are
Brabo binbce!
I haven't felt that way watching a show since. This was kind of the last big, non-streaming, collective weekly TV watching experience.
@Biszkopcikpodlaski such chicanery
Gay
Love how Walt progressively shows all his personalities to Hank and then out comes Heisenberg at the end and Hank says "I don't know you"
yea exactly, and hank was right, this was the first time he ever sees Heisenberg
Deep
0:25 when he stops and turns around is the moment Walt makes a switch
@lostinthegardencenterno, that’s the first time he ever sees the true Walter White, not husband, father or friend
Walter White
Just rewatched recently and I realized how much detail they put into giving Walt a split personality and making him seem genuinely ill
The “I don’t know who you are” is honesty heartbreaking
It's barely audible. Makes it so real.
He never gaf bout walt
No not heartbreaking. Goofy AF.
Comes from the movie 187 with Samuel L Jackson
@Paidinfullcc1gtNo.
If Hank had followed Walt’s advice and treaded lightly, he would have survived
That would have been impossible.
@Jon-g2y6o No he's right. Hank didn't have to get himself killed. He could have gone about it much smarter.
Nah, if he immediately request backup when they're in desert, he would've survived
Cops are power tripping control freaks. They can’t let things go, cause they’re in love with their authority. Cause they were losers in high school
@setiawan2791 yup it was hanks pride that killed him just like Walt. Best show of all time!
The transition from Walt to Heisenberg was terrifying.
🤓
Frail old cancer man is not terrifying.
The way Walter speaks with a scared and uncertain tone while threatening hank is crazy. Really trying to mess with his head.
Congrats to Heisenberg on their transition. We're so proud of them.
@christianlcastle98 He's not trying to mess with him. He's making two things clear: 1) Hank is right. Walt is Heisenberg. 2) Walt does not intend to confess to it.
The amount of times ive watched this scene on youtube is concerning
I know, right! It's such a brilliant performance!
😂
The amount of times I’ve watched BB and Better Call Saul is concerning. Even more troubling is … I still find myself rooting for each character 😐
@genxtechguy🫵🤡
If you’re really concerned, maybe your best course of action would be to tread lightly.
0:14 Hank: 🥹
From now on, when I see this emoji, I'll think of hank 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
So faltou falar godammad
3:52 The way he switched from WW to Heisenberg is phenomenal
beyond phenomenal.
Willy wonka
Hank has the best character arc in the series: from a moronic brother-in-law to be the only one who sees the full picture and still remains stoic to his very last moment.
His ignorance and hardheadedness got him in the end.
100%
He’s the true hero of the story. Skylar as well
Walt is a villain after all in neutral point of view
Hell yea .. I remember cheering out loud when he killed the Salamanca twins (or killed one and almost killed the other) by himself. I feel like that was the point where we saw that he was a super cop… then we got to see that he was like this amazing investigator as well..
and then he ended up dying like a hero.. not begging for his life or anything.
the level of acting is just something special. Outstanding job.
@granthatcheridk about Skylar I mean she knew about it, was involved in it, and never told Hank
It was you. All the time, it was you. You are willy wonka.
Stay Puft Marshmellow Man's arch nemesis
Widrow wilson
🧀
It’s super immersive when Hank says “It was *beeping* you.
Yeah cause apparently we can have clips from shows that talk about drugs and show violence but YT HAS to censor the curse words. 😂
This but unironically.
I can see why this show is rated the best TV ever.
In the genre of dark, depressing, violent, and sad... sure. Great show.
Its a very good show. definitely NOT the best ever.
@crimsonpearl4686 what’s the best ever then? Not saying you’re wrong I’m just curious
@buggerboogus Well, in my opinion, the best is Sorprano's. MUCH more brutal and raw and better acting.
@crimsonpearl4686 I tried watching it, but that’s definitely not a bad take at all with how much praise that show gets, only reason I stopped was because I just didn’t feel like watching another long show, nothing to do with the quality
'That´s not going to happen'. That line was the confession. You can see it in their eyes.
Damn very well said. 👍 It absolutely is.
Damn I missed that 10 times I watched the series
If walt hadn't confronted hank about the GPS tracker then eventually Hank would have thought he was going mad and probably dropped it after weeks of watching Walt run a car wash 😂
True then gets attacked by the other ruthless kingpins
@stellarthealiendeer there would have been no logical reason for that to happen, everyone around him who was a threat at the time is dead
Yeah shoulda taken a page out of Fring's playbook, and likely Hank eventually doubts himself. He was already out of the game. Unclear on how Pinkman plays out though...
I'm not sure if you've watched the show but these main theme is that wait just can't help himself 🤣.
But honestly. He hated being Walter really. He loved being Heisenberg. So whenever he thinks "this is something Walt would do" he instantly flips to Heisenberg.
@Cryostriker-auyeah lol no point to this thought process cuz you can just take it all the way back to the beginning of the series. If he just took the money from Elliot he could've had a comfy life without getting involved in all the illegal shit. If he just reigned in his ego he could have worked under Gus and made millions easily with no fuss. But it's not who Walter is.
"I can't believe you've been breaking bad this whole time" - Hank
Love the bloopers where the garage door kept jamming when it came down lol
Hank was shocked and finally met Walt's Heisenberg persona.
Thanks for that, would never have been able to work that out
Are you a bot?
@ItsB3enLikeThis yeah these lame ass comments "i was shocked!" you know it's auto-troll garbage.
@ItsB3enLikeThis Yea it's a bot set up to comment on every Breaking Bad clip with a short summary, pathetic
@ i could explain it to you, but then i'd have to thrill you.
This may be the best bit of acting in the history of television. Hank looks terrifying. He looks like he's equally likely to rip Walts face off, as he would be to break down crying. You can feel the pain radiating from him. Chills.
Tommy Shelby and Alfie Solomon’s for me but this is certainly up there!
Also the way Walt’s voice changes when he says “tread lightly”
His eyes also look empty at the same time, like opaque glass orbs.
exactly, you can feel the pain with that lip trembling when walt says his cancer is back and he says "rot you son of a b" Even if he knows the truth he still cares about him
Its a pop show for simple people...
Best garage closing scene in the history of the world
Hank’s epiphany is the best guy taking a crap scene in the history of the world
1:26 Hank face OMG. There is rage, pain and sadness all at once. Never saw the acting like this.
the DISGUST on his face is spelled out all caps
in 0.25 speed 😂😂😂
His eyes glowing makes him look creepy
The acting in this scene by both is remarkable.
Imagine the “natural high” these good actors get during and after they nail these scenes.
"The Bad! It was you who was Breaking it!"
"You must use Light Treads!"
HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA
Damn, the dynamic shift in that scene. Hank has always been the "Alpha", and he realizes he's just a pawn in someone else's game.
We don't see acting like this anymore.
"anymore" damn, feels like last week.
Lmao yes we do. There’s phenomenal acting everywhere. What a silly thing to type.
@TheSilentHeelfr
Bro this 2:35 that trembling lips is just a chef kiss to the great acting
Still can't believe that Hank was the Bay Harbour Butcher...
Harbor * this isn’t England bro 😂
@JoboMcFakeAF oh but many of your cities are named after English ones.
Jersey is but one.
Oh and the Dutch. Harlem. And France. Rochelle.
You just underestimate those origins. Kentucky rifle was German. M1 Garand is Canadian. AK47 uses M1 Garand action.
You may run from England, but you cannot escape your history.
Hank knocked the sonic rings outta Walt.. Dang 😂
😂I heard the sound effect in my head as I was reading that.🤣
😂😂😂😂
This is the moment that Hank closed the garage door
Oh yeah, you're right
You're right, oh yeah
Oh right, you're yeah
Yeah right, oh you’re
Yeah yeah, oh oh
Can't believe Hank is the Bay Harbor Butcher.
1:46 Batman
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Too good 👍
4:28 I am *Megatron*
At 2:07 Walt should've said exactly what he said to Declan.
"If you don't know who I am... Maybe the best course would be to tread lightly." Hank was warned.
2:24 wonder if that saliva flying into Walt’s mouth was part of the script 😂
"What's a little spit for Chrissake, between actors?"
- Sir Laurence Olivier.
Hahahahahah
It was Hank not Walt
It remained me of an episode from Friends with Joey 😂
This is the exact moment the garage door became closed
Season five to this day is still some of the best tv ive ever seen
0:26 Another prime example of walters ego not letting him just let something go, because he feels like someone bested him or tricked him.
Alternate title* raja Jackson when he gets a prop beer smashed on his head on accident and then accepts an apology, but really just plans to kill a man instead.
But honestly though Hank already put everything together and without a direct confrontation where Walter has at least some semblance of control as far as when/where they finally both acknowledge it, who knows what he would have done with this information. And Walter needed to be sure how much Hank suspected/knew.
The tension was displayed perfectly in this scene
The fight of the bald.
I’m with the bald guy
"Your Heisenberg"
"Your Goddamn wrong."
"Tread Lightly" Immediately get a chill from head to toe. So good
the voice change he did was crazy
he went from walt to heisenberg in a split second
I wish i can forget that i watched this show. Just so i could enjoy it again.
I'm about to forget it in total i saw it in 2016 I can't remember most of it
Took him way too long to figure that shit out.
this is the moment Walter became the Bay Harbor Cooker
All along it was you. You're WILLY WONKA.
1:39 Hank is barking
Tread lightly. Like a crocodile's growl. Fav scene of all time.
Best scene of all time is when Bjorn Ironside having just been run through by a sword the day previous, dawns full battle rattle, mounts a big as steed and rides up to the Army of the Rus, alone.
There he takes three direct hit arrow shots to the chest at very close range, then draws his sword holding it high to the sky thereby signaling all the armies of Norway who join him soon after, to commence the attack.
YOU BOMBED A NURSING HOME
This is the moment the garage door closed
3:57 Hank dementia confirmed
He said his name
Telling Hank to "tread lightly" is some straight, original gangsta ish.
Walt was Walt literally until he said the words “tread lightly”. That’s when Heisenberg came out and you could hear it in the tone change. Absolutely brilliant.
It happened before that. "That is not going to happen." hence why Hank is like oh shit..i don't even know you anymore.
Man, Dean Norris is fucking incredible in this scene
Hank didn't deserve to die....
Walt: Hey Hank, why dont we relax huh?
Hank: Heisenberg says relax...
Such amazing actors
Why do I love the fact that he just full on threatens Hank after he punches him?
When he told him tread lightly gave me goosebumps!!!!
Both Dean Norris and Bryan Cranston are incredible in this scene
Their hairstylist is even more amazing.
From what I know about physics, there's no way he could be certain that Walt was Heisenberg.
Dean Norris is such an amazing actor!!!! The change in his face from bf and after he discovers Walt is Heisenberg.....phenomenal!!🎉🎉🎉
threatening a dying man almost never gets you anywhere. especially a dying man that is a parent
Absolute top notch acting right here.
Loved it when Walt said “It’s breaking time!”
We can watch violence but we can't hear swear words...
Makes no sense indeed…
Swears are worse than violence
Jesus this scene is so good.
Walter just had to confront Hank about the tracker. He could have led Hank around for months convincing him he was clean but he wanted Hank to know IMO
Heisenberg was dying to put Hank in his place for years.
Just one of countless examples why and how Walter's pride messed up everything.
This was the time Walt was harassed inside Hank's private domicile
Dean Norris did an absolutely phenomenal job in this scene. Oscar-worthy performance.
Hank's acting prowess skyrocketed in the final season. This scene is a great example. Definitely Emmy worthy, but he was surrounded by such powerhouse award winning actors that he didn't have a chance. I love how he subtlety holds back when telling Walt to "rot you son of a bitch" something he almost feels bad saying despite the circumstances. We never saw this side of Hank up until this.
I think Hank was angry with Walter
This is the moment that Walter White realized Hank thought he was Walt Whitman.
The way Dean puts his terryfing face being in front of something his caracter hunts with all of his soul is so professional...
For a minute, I was wondering how you got to here from Supernatural. 😂
Dead ass the best show ever
This is the moment Walt became hisenberg
Hank got SO mad, imagine Walt would have stolen his Minerals......
The way hank looks at him when he says i dont know you reminds of jack nicholson talking to delbert grady in the shinning
the "shinning"? 🤣
@Cee-Bee25quiet boy! Do ye wanta get sued?? -Simpsons
@Cee-Bee25 thats the name the simpsons chose to use in that one treehouse of horror parody 😂
“My cancer is back.” The gasp I experienced… so low.
“Heisenberg. HEISENBERG!” Dean Norris kills this scene. 5 seasons building up to this moment. Worth every second and more.
Walter White was assaulted by Hank in Hank’s own private domicile.
Walt turning around is a metaphor for him deciding to confront Hank about the tracker
That's genious, how did I not see that??
Walt’s ego made him confront Hank. Had he walked out and deliberately threw the tail with normal behavior he could have at least given himself more time.
You can see the change in Walt's face as soon as Hank tells him to bring Skylar and the kids over, like in order to get them to "safety" before they talk. And that subtle change in demeanor from Walt in his face and tone prompts Hank to have that dramatic reaction of "I dont know who you are".
Walter switched states to cold blooded psychopath. He let his hair down so to speak.
This scene was so unbelievably PERFECT!
4:27 is where Walt changed to Heisenberg
Genius acting, perfect delivery. Truly the GOAT tv series
It was a little earlier , when he says "that is not going to happen " you can even see in his posture , his eyes ...that's heisenberg, not Walt talking
The acting felt so fucking real.
This is the moment open garage turns into closed garage.
Lmao and when Freddy hit Hank in the balls with a soccer ball
Vravo bince!
This was the moment Hank became Schraderberg
I love how with every BB clip I watch on RUclips, the comment section is always comedy gold.
Sybau
Hank would be a terrible "Among Us" player.
When Jesse jumps out of the window in the first episode and Walt looks left instead of right at Jesse, the series would have ended there
Another example of Hank breaking the law. This is assualt
