I love shaving with barbasol then putting about 6 sprays of this on. It never runs people off it pulls them in. My signature scent forever it's an extraordinary scent
DARKER is the only cologne i wear, i use to wear a knock off called new york nights sold by Walmart unfortunately it was discounted they don't make it anymore
I'm currently wearing Gladiator, Belcam's version of Invictus. I don't know what Invictus smells like, but Gladiator smells great. I also picked up this one you're reviewing, but I haven't worn it yet.
I haven't tried that one, but I like Invictus on some occasions. It's a little too sweet for my tastes, but sometimes I crave that smell. I do have Cuba's clone of Invictus, Winner. I've reviewed that one. It's great. Thanks for watching.
@@eastriverg3595 I have Cuba Winner also. I didn't realize it was an Invictus clone. It doesn't really smell very much like Gladiator. I guess one of them failed at cloning Invictus. 🤣 I like them both though. (EDIT) I was wrong. I smelt them both this morning, and they are similar. Gladiator smells a little better I think, but Gladiator and Cuba Winner are definitely very similar.
Drakkar Noir has indeed 2 very different phases, these have always been exactly my words. I know the vintage version from release on. 1st phase is A LOT citrus (actually it is Lemon Verbena plus citrus) lavender and Fir cinnamon. and the 2nd stage is what it's all about. very unique, nothing shower gel-like, it almost reminds me of a cherry vibe. a bit sweet. fir and lavender are still detectable, but the citrus is almost left. The new version's weakness is the performance. it is absolutely gone with the wind after 4 hours. so I guess, that Classic Match clone seems to be better than the current OG version.
Recently I bought Belcam's version of Drakkar Noir. It smells pleasant but not quite as good as 80's Drakkar Noir. I haven't tried the reformulated DN.
I've heard that from a lot of folks. And I've heard completely conflicting things about the reformulation, but everybody has their own tastes. This one is pretty damn good on its own, though. I still wear it occasionally. Can't beat that price.
Nice job, man. I own vintage and current Drakkar Noir. This is actually a bit rougher than the real thing (vintage being richer/stronger) but I use this much more frequently. I find it has more of a green/earthy vibe than Drakkar, (which leans more smooth/leathery in the dry down with a similar opening). From a distance they smell the same, and women do enjoy this Belcam frag, just dont tell them what it is ;) Based on your preferences I think you need to try Paco Rabanne pour Homme...
I went out and got the classic match today. Already had the real Drakkar. Now the Classic Match smells very close to Drakkar, but to me Drakkar smells a little better. A little heavier on the cinnamon. But, this Classic Match is definitely worth keeping around for 8 bucks at Wal-Mart. It smells really close to Drakkar. Thanks for the video.
It's unfortunate but the Drakkar Noir clones smell better than the watered down original. Drakkar is still good but Al-Rehab Dakkar or Confinluxe Taxi have a bit more greener kick to it. I haven't smelled your clone but I'm sure it's 95% the same. I love Drakkar and it's the only classic fragrance that still smells modern to me. I'll buy any clone I can find, I love it.
I have virtually no experience with Al-Rehab and I'm starting to become intrigued by them. I know they probably have a lot of crap, but you know I love cheap-ass clones. I heard their Drakkar clone is pretty good, and it comes in an awesome bottle. Do you have any suggestions from them?
And I totally agree about clones, it's not just limited to Drakkar. There are a lot of clones I've tried that are significantly better than their counterparts at a huge fraction of cost.

My man said he was going to do the review first, then talk later - earned me watching the whole vid and subbing
Haha. That's how I generally do it here. Thanks for watching and subbing man.
Thanks for the review. I think you have me caught up. I'm gonna buy it.
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
I don't wear cologne right now but I want to try this.

Drakkar noir is like 20 bucks why get a clones of a already cheap fragrance
Because this is like $7 and sold at Walmart. Also I have a fondness for checking out cheap clones; it's fun to sniff them
Nice but not as good as Drakkar.
Good to hear another opinion. Thanks for watching.
