I had the same dilemma. I started off with the NIV chronological Bible, but after a couple pages I switched to The NLT Life Application Chronological Bible. I felt the latter had more illustrations and I really wanted the Life Application notes. I figure I will just try the NIV next year. Thank you for your comparison.
Good comparison Review. I have both of these in hardcover. I am going through both and at first I thought I'd like the NIV Chronological Study Bible better, BUT OH NO! Once I started studying in the NLT Life Application Study Bible I really found it to be very engaging. I like the Scripture Index in the front of the Bible. Whereas in the NIV Chronological Study Bible it in is in the back. But either way, I like that you can easily find the Scripture you are looking for by going to it. Of course I tabbed them in both. 🤓 Actually, after I dive into the NIV, I will probably like it more. I tend to really get into whatever Bible I focus on. 🌺🌴🌄 Will be looking for more of your Reviews!
I’m reading thru the NKJV Chronological Bible (like the NIV you reviewed). Really good so far! Love how you handled the “broken” table issue and real life in this video. 😊 Always appreciate your reviews. Thank you!
Thomas Nelson has a new Chronological study Bible in NKJV . I checked it out in a local Christian bookstore. I think Tyndale also has a new Chronological bible also . Can't decide wich one to get. I'm going to read through one this year in the Chronological setting

I have the NKJV Chronological Study Bible that I've been going through. It's a great Bible!
New subscriber here😁I have the NKJV chronological bible that I’m excited to start.
Thank you for subscribing! That Bible is really nice!
I'm doing The Daily Bible in Chronological order in the NIV and really liking it I'm already in Exodus

The NKJV has the same notes as the NIV version that I showed here. You can't go wrong with any of them!
