I advise everyone against ever wearing flip-flops in public. I am not some kind of tactical superhero nor am I a veteran of any battlefield, but I have learned the hard way as a common civilian you do not want to EVER be in a position to have to sprint or fight while wearing flip-flops or sandals - especially on asphalt or concrete.

Just lost an Ada County Sheriffs officer here in Boise Idaho for the first time in a very very long time. Truly heartbreaking to see. RIP Deputy Tobin Bolter 4/21/2024. Has affirmed my need to carry and protect my family and those around me from the sensless violence that seems more frequent as they days go on.
The vast majority of LEOs are good people who help their community. They are patient, kind, and really go out of their way to help strangers. I'm sorry to hear about the deputy. What a sorry state we are in.
