Wow...I went to school in the 70s and 80s, we literally never had to deal with anything like this. What a wonderful world we have created for future generations. 😕
I never thought I would experience a real lockdown, until 2 kids from my school, last week, passed away from a shooting that occurred down the street from the school. The passing was a result of an argument between them and teenagers in car, who also attended my school. They were only 14 and 15 years old. A 3rd kid remains in the hospital. *(True story) One time I was walking down the hallway when the lights turned off and I saw teachers locking their doors, it took me a second but I realized that we were in lockdown, I quickly bolted down the hallway to the exit as we were informed to do if we were locked in the hallway, I ran straight down to the church across the street and found the nearest adult and told them about the situation, they were trying to Calm me down and tell me that’s it’s ok. It took about 15 minutes for the police to arrive. No one was hurt in the incident luckily. The police apparently apprehended the man the next week and the dude is currently serving 8 years in jail. It was a truly terrifying experience.*

Honestly, I’ve never had a lockdown experience, but dang this does creep me out. I think Mr Nightmare, needs to make a movie on all these horror stories or a book.
I once had a lockdown when I was in 2nd grade when that was happening I was in gym with other people in my class also my gym teacher was outside the school there was a person with a gun and he shot my gym teacher when the lockdown ended my teacher plus everyone was crying I had to write a letter just like everyone everyone cried except for me I was crying a little til this day I remember that happend
For the first story: They should have never called the front office. Also, if you are in this situation, do not pick up the classroom phone during the lockdown either. The front office can identify which classroom phone was on the other line, letting the intruder know if there’s anyone in that room (given the circumstances that they are in the front office). Edit: don’t even bother responding if there’s someone asking to come in the classroom after the doors have been shut. Students are usually instructed to go to bathrooms, or other available areas to stay out of the open during drills, in the case that they do not make it to a classroom.
I didn’t actually know this since I don’t live in America and I don’t have lockdowns but I can only imagine calling the front office is a rookie mistake
Lockdowns are getting scarier and scarier, like I remember being in gym and our teacher told us what to do!! An announcement came on that there was an active shooter in hall J, and at first we all stood there confused, and my teacher shouted to run, run and get outside as fast as possible!!

The last one is the reason I try to be extra polite to everyone. You never know when someone is crazy enough to come back to shoot you for cursing at him.
Just this week our campus sent out this message to all it's students and staff: "... CAMPUS lockdown! All entry doors are locked. Increase your awareness. Run, hide, or fight if appropriate. Additional info from police will follow ASAP." Of course with no context, everyone assumed it was another shooting (we just had that Boulder one not too long ago after all). Searching for info on it online yielded no results until I looked at the twitter feed (using the campus as the keyword) and saw messages with people just as confused. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. After about 40 minutes it was confirmed that it was a stabbing that happened at one of the light rail stations on campus. We don't know what happened to the victim but at least the suspect was caught. That vague message is truly something and made the situation that much worse.
I remember two months ago when a lockdown happened, I and everyone else in 2nd period was in the left near corner to the door as we were less visible. I was muffling my cries as I was terrified since it's been a while since I've been in one ( this is my first year in mid ) my elementary friend from 3rd grade and a male I barely talk to that often helped calm me down a bit. I still don't know what the hell happened yet I'm glad we were all safe, everyone in the school was okay. I just realized if a lock down happens at my school my class is doomed 1. In our class we have some of the most loudest screamers 2. There is no where to find there is two doors to our class and our hiding spot is so small
I remember back when I was in 4th and 5th grade we had a lockdown drill. I remember us kids hid in the corner of the room and some of the kids (except me) were laughing loudly and yes it was both of these school years. What I remember shockingly in my 5th grade lockdown drill was that the kids in my class were laughing and it caused someone outside the classroom to try the doorknob and push open the door but it was locked and they walked away. My 4th grade math teacher scolded my class for laughing and said to my class what would happen if they were too noisy in a REAL lockdown and so did my 5th grade science teacher also saying the same thing. I also had a lockdown drill one time in 6th grade and back in 8th grade but my class and I in both of those classes were more quiet than my 4th grade and 5th grade lockdown drills, I'm now in 11th grade and this is my final month of the year, totally can't wait to graduate next year.
I always was so confident when I was younger saying “I’ll always use my sharpest pencil to fight the shooter off” and now I’m quite scared if this happened in real life
One of the things that my old middle school used to have as a rule was that we couldn’t put on our hoodie, like have it over our heads unless it was really cold or it was raining especially when it was raining. Some were annoyed by the rule but it was a very good rule when you really think about it because if someone suspicious gets into campus, they won’t know about the rule, so they will be spotted immediately.
As a former Young middle school teacher, my biggest fear was going into lockdown honestly. Not even finish the first story. Just had to comment because I’m impulsive as shit
Mr. Nightmare: "Reuploading any of these videos or reusing any of these stories will be acted upon immediately." Also Mr. Nightmare: *LITERALLY REUPLOADS IT*
One time for my schools lockdown me and my sisters were walking into our school and they said RUN TO YOUR CLASSROOMS we did and they thought it was a gunshot right outside of the school when it was one of the workers trucks that had backfired XDDD
One time we were in class and we heard gun shots out. Side the school and everyone screamed and prayed to god them my teacher looked out the window and found out it was just those trucks that clean roads lol
Mine was a women that had a gun she had a fight with her son and tried to shoot him. We heard screaming then shooting and then my school went into lockdown for 2 hours and we heard banging on are door then screaming from a boy.
I remember in my freshman year, we were put in lockdown in are first period class because a student posted on there snap the other day that here gonna bring a gun to school and someone reported to the office/teachers. Which lead them to call the cops. The cops searched everyone’s locker and gratefully, the person that said “they were gonna bring a gun” didn’t bring it. After 3-4 hours of being in lockdown, they let us go and told us we could go home or stay at the school and continue the day. And the parents were already informed about what was going on so my dad and I found each other but we didn’t know where my brother was, so I went searching for him and gratefully we found him and went home. 2 days later, it’s a Monday and I was terrified on going back there. And to this day, I’m terrified every time that I go to school
Every story seems to end the same. "I Never heard any more from the police" "I never called the police as I didn't think they'd be interested" "I never told anyone this and just got on with my life"
I feel like if you were to be a teacher in a lockdown what if you put a sign on your window that said out for a field trip come back later! Then the shooter might just go to another classroom
I kinda want to make a fanmade video for mr. Nightmare. Imagine how amazing a ’dumb ways to die’ but a mr. Nightmare parody. guyss we should start a fandom or something!! whos with me?
#3: I assume the shooter was fired from the school and was replaced by the new teacher who was short or they had beef from long ago and the shooter wanted to settle it.
When you realize, the guy you dissed for staring at you and being dressed in all black and looking weird, actually had a gun and was intending to use it.
I remember I was at school and I was in 4th grade. I went to a charter school so it was a small school so there were only about 100 students. We had to go on a real lockdown one day because there was a man who was in the area with a gun on him. Tbh it was terrifying, but luckily no one was killed or injured. We were in lockdown for the whole day though. Edit: and to this day I still remember it like yesterday, and I am now heading to 7th grade

So am I the only one that sees how grouping everyone in a corner is a bad idea???
ikr
It is
A bad idea
@@D1Athlete541 I mean for this exact reason people invented HIDING SPOTS. Like how dumb are schools. They say we are smart when they don't have the common sense to not group people together during a school shooting. SMH

He says in a deep voice.
Seems legit.

It sure does, now open the fricking door

Ah man that first background track brings me back to some ordinary gamers haunted gaming, idk but the way mutahar read stories was so much more atmospheric and spooky to me when I was young, and even now. I hope he makes a return someday.
I love your stories bruv listen to em when studying gaming occasionally working out and sleeping too
I know the reason for the re-upload, the 3rd story has a part where the guy dressed in black says I'm gonna kill you f****ts. Apparently RUclips didn't like it and mr. Nightmare had to edit it out. 🤷♂️
What are you talking about? It’s still there.... 10:23
@@nobodyimportant6871 you can barely tell though.
@@joshuanorris4571 I can still tell lol. It sounds like the shortened version.
@@nobodyimportant6871 I feel like first time watchers would be like "what does I'm gonna kill you fay mean". That's what it sounds like to me.
@@joshuanorris4571 I guess so.
I just realized if a lock down happens at my school my class is doomed
1. In our class we have some of the most loudest screamers
2. There is no where to find there is two doors to our class and our hiding spot is so small
0:01 sirenhead’s attack sound @Mr. Nightmare
It’s also in a Roblox game😂
The fact that these are true tho...it gives me chills!!!
I always was so confident when I was younger saying “I’ll always use my sharpest pencil to fight the shooter off” and now I’m quite scared if this happened in real life
I love how u tell these stories! Great job!😁❤
Wow it’s been a while since I’ve watched him, can’t wait to start bingeing😹
Story 3: “obviously the beach idea was out the window now”... 😂
Mr. Nightmare: "Reuploading any of these videos or reusing any of these stories will be acted upon immediately."
Also Mr. Nightmare: *LITERALLY REUPLOADS IT*
Nightmare: "Can't argue with that officer, cuff me up!"
I knew I recognize it
I like have always watched these videos and nothing changes! Respects!! Love these stories
We went into lockdown at my school but after a while they realised it was a fox!! 😂😂😂😂
mine was a guy trying to shoot his wife, the shooter was the only one who got hurt, he was tazed.
Hes random, easy to miss. But when he uploads you immediately watch
Literally I wait for this RUclipsr to post every week
The heartbeat he uses each story transition it sounds like my heart watching some of these sometimes
"I Never heard any more from the police"
"I never called the police as I didn't think they'd be interested"
"I never told anyone this and just got on with my life"
When I saw that notification I clicked super fast
This dude has more lockdown stories then how many years my dad has been gone
Damnn😢
Terrifying to think that guy would risk all of your children's lives by doing the improper thing. As a teacher, absolutely unacceptable
Nightmare never disappoints I’ve been watching him for Years now amazing work!
I do love this series but, the sleepover series is my personal favorite. Anyone else?
I feel like if you were to be a teacher in a lockdown what if you put a sign on your window that said out for a field trip come back later! Then the shooter might just go to another classroom
Or try hide in there
I was abt to go to bed but then my phones like nope Mr.Nightmare's on, so I hadda click on this
I kinda want to make a fanmade video for mr. Nightmare. Imagine how amazing a ’dumb ways to die’ but a mr. Nightmare parody. guyss we should start a fandom or something!! whos with me?
I'm with you
Im with youu
B e t
*yes*
i love that idea
#3: I assume the shooter was fired from the school and was replaced by the new teacher who was short or they had beef from long ago and the shooter wanted to settle it.
I love people who tell scary real-life stories that people had lived. I learn so much of how to handle these situations.
1:17 I love how he just says the least visible spot or something like that and whenever you look through the door the first thing you see is them 😂😂
When you realize, the guy you dissed for staring at you and being dressed in all black and looking weird, actually had a gun and was intending to use it.
I love watching these stories bc you could imagine it happening it in your head and make yourself get chills
Lockdowns at my school (practice lockdowns) give me an adrenaline rush and I love it
I remember I was at school and I was in 4th grade.
