I've always liked what everybody calls hick-hop. I consider it Southern hip hop. this kind of music speaks to the way of life I grew up in, a bunch of country boys who didn't want to listen to just country and we weren't into rock and roll. we liked hip hop but it spoke about a place we didn't live in. bubba Sparks, little white, jelly roll, Upchurch, Big smo, Paul Wall, mini thin, the jawga boys, those guys spoke about a way of life that I was living and have lived for going on 47 years. I can feel their music in my soul! Upchurch is one of the best that ever did it too! I love to play his music when I'm sitting out on the creek with nothing but a joint, a beer, and a fishing pole. Now the part everybody ain't going to like is Tom McDonald and Adam Calhoun are saying a lot of things that I feel to my soul as well. I don't know if I'm going to get liked or disliked for this, but I've been a fan of Upchurch pretty much since back when it was hard to find a song that he did on RUclips. when nobody knew him I was a fan. I've always liked what everybody calls hick-hop. I consider it Southern hip hop. this kind of music speaks to the way of life I grew up in, a bunch of country boys who didn't want to listen to just country and we weren't into rock and roll. we liked hip hop but it spoke about a place we didn't live in. bubba Sparks, little white, jelly roll, Upchurch, Big smo, Paul Wall, mini thin, the jawga boys, those guys spoke about a way of life that I was living and have lived for going on 47 years. I can feel their music in my soul! Upchurch is one of the best that ever did it too! I love to play his music when I'm sitting out on the creek with nothing but a joint, a beer, and a fishing pole. Now the part everybody ain't going to like is Tom McDonald and Adam Calhoun are saying a lot of things that I feel to my soul as well. I really wish they could all come together instead of fighting over what doesn't make any sense to me. I know Upchurch believes in a lot of what they're saying. he just doesn't like the way they're saying it and if they could get over this petty beef. there's some magnificent music that could come out of them uniting. I would like to see all the names I mentioned to do one big album called pack of crackers
