@@quantumblauthor7300don’t think you can see that since chains of harrow is locked behind War within now and and war within is locked behind rising tide. Unless I’ve got the wrong order
I think biggest thing about Warframe is that "big bad" sentients are completelly justified in their war against Orokin and by extension entierty of Origin system. Striped of everything that made them human, designed to just make more shit for Orokin, just like Grineer, but somehow in a more fucked up way, since they were once people, not clones, they have all rights to despise Orokin and their creations. Obviously there is no right or wrong in War, just death, but that's about as sympathetic you can get with genocidal machines.
Wait man.....sentients were never human.....the warframes once were either human or Dax (highly augmented humans) but the senteints have always been thinking machines never human
I totally agree with all your points, except that the Sentients are not human, they themselves are fully sentient (hence the name) automated AIs. They are fundamentally different to everything the Orokin made because the Orokin themselves shunned the use of AI.
Well, my Warframe knowledge is a bit dated. From what i remember is that they were twisted by long distance travel, became baren and changed. It doesn't outright states that they were human once, but it wouldn't be a far stretch to assume so. Balas himself got twisted by sentients, so it is possible that some part of the Sentient designs are human in nature. Knowing everything that Orokin is, i wouldn't put it past them that Sentients were people that forcibly implanted into "machine" bodies and sent into far reaches, such were their designs, be it Warframes or Cephalons. But that's just me, i suppose. The point is - they got fucked real bad and now they are mad.
@@doremiancleff1508 Indeed. 1st the revelation that every enemy in the current era is actually a human, then that the Old Enemy were trying to save their world from humanity. Though as others have said, unlike Cephalons, Sentients are explicitly synthetic, something the Orokin feared to ever create, until they felt they had no choice. Void travel opened up other options, for both, but renders sentients barren; hence why every sentient in the Sol system is just a fragment of Hunhow. (Although, Temple Kuva, from the Cetus tower, can apparently restore their ability to reproduce, which is why beating the tridalon is such a massive deal. At the moment they're like Necrons, recycling limited parts, but if they were healed, they could propagate without any limit.)
by the way this quest has more than just those three mini Quest but I better mention it here The Jovian Concord: mainly the series of fragments ( collectible data entries) called the Partnership where Alad V was forced to create Amalgams (Ballas was one of them after the sacrifice) to deal with their avoid weakness and the two operations ( operations being limited time only events) Scarlett spear: focuses on the first invasion of the sentients Orphix Venom: which is more full on railjack and also focusing on The Necramechs against Sentient enemies ( because Orphix Sentient find ways to deal with your Warframe so this is basically the best next best thing)
Quite a shame you skipped past the entire Amalgam chapter (that starts with the chimera prologue). But thanks for this all the same. After CP, we got the Jupiter rework; the new boss, SaladV's Diaries; amalgam weapons, foes; amalgam labs & conduits.
The other thing that is missing from these is the game event going on when this launched as we were trying to protect earth from the Scarlet Spear and then later the Operation Orphix Venom. These operations really made the New War feel more... war. At the time. Now of course players can do the story but they don't have the war going on in the system now so it doesn't quite have the same impact.
I think the scene with Ballas was to show both he had one of her eyes and only she can see them, and she knows you’re here, even was the one who invited you.
It makes sense, creating another Erra just for the purpose of deceiving Natah into the war and getting rid of the Tenno. That the kind of convoluted plan Ballas will made. And I don't remember why Ballas got transformed in that sentient hybrid. It was just because we stabbed him with Umbra?
@@bargainbincatgirl6698 Yes, I think, Ballas was dying and that's how his life was saved. In the prologue, he said something like "she disfigured me, but she kept me alive," about Natah
@@quantumblauthor7300 Yes, it's very interesting. The prologue makes it clear that something is wrong with Erra. Natah's reaction, Ballas's smile, as if it's all part of the plan
@@skeleton_des it's a dumb point ngl, erra in general got done dirty by the final script. Seeing Natah already Lotus'd places the cutscene distant from the events of her first capture and rewiring, leaving that memory distant in the audience's mind. If they just established that the Orokin capturing and rewiring of sentients wasn't exclusive to Lotus, and continued during the Old War, it might've been clearer
I got waaaaay too burnt on the flying roasted chicken. I had to kill it probably around 20 times for my wisp and then about 40 more times for my friends. It was an awesome boss fight but I’ve done it enough
Hey man, just found your channel, and as an avid warframe player myself, i'd like to answer a question from your first warframe video. Yes, there is room for another guy making builds! Both for warframes and weapons. Compared to Destiny, Warframe is MUCH more complex, and you'll find that out later, once you begin to unlock more of the game. One of the things that many creators dont really touch on, is how elemental damage works, and how the synergy with elemental damage and physical damage works. Most newer players wiill google builds and copy them without understanding why they work at all, making them unable to do their own builds. Once you've understood the game well enough, and how damage works, I'd suggest you make some tutorials and guides on builds etc.
From re watching these misions one can re learn some things that in the 1st playthrough are so confusing. The ONE thing that is never clear to me is the hierarchy we are working with here. What's with the "lets have Ballas chained and also transformed into sentient?" It seems to me an Orokin, that would praise their beauty, would not do that.
In regard to your question at the end...I think it has to do with nuance, and character interaction, and writing, and subtlety. I'm busy watching some Destiny coverage about the end of Episode 1 post-TFS, and just seeing how that's released and been received...the underlying lore and story to it are decent, but paced really poorly. Players really don't care about it, it's not done in an interesting way, it's not providing the community with new mysteries they want to unravel (the "conductor" wasn't anywhere close to being that type of needed problem to solve). Whereas here...I remember when those Prelude to War cutscenes released, and how the community was examining each moment and second and theorizing things about them. That's important! Destiny stories have way too much telling and not enough showing, too much time spent with exposition, too much summarizing what players are supposed to learn and NPCs SAYING they've grown and changed without actually showing how. It's too obvious, too boring, and too uninteresting to matter. Warframe doesn't do that. DE would rather you not know entirely what's going on, but WANT to know...than tell you way too much thinking you're not smart enough to piece it together.
Dude I had no idea there was a boss fight on Jupiter that had to do with this prologue. At least I know of it’s existence now and not after completing The New War
With hindsight, its obvious that Ballas is being a sneaky manipulator, but in the moment there was no way to know if he was lying or not. Well done on catching that he wasnt truly a prisoner, cause many got thrown off between the two preludes as the plot seemed to shift randomly.
He's missing some context cause he hasn't done those Simarus Codex Scans. There's the few short stories that fill the gap. Not to mention the short stories hinting at Tenno and Warframe origins with Ember Prime and Rhino Prime Codex Entries. And of course the Old War and Archwing hints in Mag Prime's.
I don't recommend anyone fight the "rope-a-dope" (that's what I call it)on solo mode on the first try. Play public until you learn how to fight it. Odds are someone that really knows what they are doing will join the game and carry you until you learn what to do. When it picks your frame up go into operator mode. It prevents it from killing your frame. Switch back once it drops the frame.
Lore is so good I felt compelled to start buying pri e access to support the studio and it only gets better. sure it's buggy at times but let me tell you, it only gets better.
Answer to his question at the end... The dev team cooked, the dev team of DE have a game that they wanted to make, and they made it, they didn't want external "big shots" parent companies or distributors trying to control the game like what's happening to other 3A/4A games that get stranglehold by others outside the studios working on a game, sure they made mistakes over the years, but atleast DE actually tries to fix or compensate their mistakes, He'll the big parent company they made a deal with "TenCent" even struck a rather rare deal where Tencent in which it has little to no control over the game and they are raking in the profits from DE.
Ballas manipulated the Lotus into acting like Margulis because she had her memories (I think) to get her to go back to Tau and become Natah. There, he’s manipulated everyone into believing it is worth working with him and that he isn’t a bad guy, but I think the Lotus caught on to what’s going on, so now she’s being forced and used (again). Or, there isn’t enough story yet.
3:00 not he is not, those look more like sentient parts. He is half sentient as they enslaved him. Are the sentient so stupid they ALL travelled through the void in spite they KNEW that would leave them barren? They didn't left some behind so they could reproduce? Aare you confused? Well don't worry, you will be more confused later on.
It’s so lame that they removed the requirement for the second prologue part. When it released you had to encounter a sentient anomaly in railjack and shatter the crystal in their ship before you could access the prologue

man in the wall doesn't happen until after chains of harrow, and the bonus interaction didn't happen in Rising Tides since he did that first
@@quantumblauthor7300don’t think you can see that since chains of harrow is locked behind War within now and and war within is locked behind rising tide. Unless I’ve got the wrong order
"Feeling better kiddo?"
@@daredevil2_074 You mixed up War Within and New War
This mans understanding of the warframe story is 20x better than mine
It's really satisfying to watch him putting dots together
Hey, I just want to say im excited to watch you play new war and good job on the ropalolyst. It's a hard fight the first time through
by the way this quest has more than just those three mini Quest but I better mention it here
The Jovian Concord: mainly the series of fragments ( collectible data entries) called the Partnership where Alad V was forced to create Amalgams (Ballas was one of them after the sacrifice) to deal with their avoid weakness
and the two operations ( operations being limited time only events)
Scarlett spear: focuses on the first invasion of the sentients
Orphix Venom: which is more full on railjack and also focusing on The Necramechs against Sentient enemies ( because Orphix Sentient find ways to deal with your Warframe so this is basically the best next best thing)
Quite a shame you skipped past the entire Amalgam chapter (that starts with the chimera prologue).
But thanks for this all the same.
After CP, we got the Jupiter rework; the new boss, SaladV's Diaries; amalgam weapons, foes; amalgam labs & conduits.
You have to watch the New War Cinematic trailer of 2021, before playing the New War quest to bit more context on the lore.
Wait, has he not met The Man in the Wall since Chains of Harrow? 😅
Hey kiddo jumpscare compilation when?
I've never paid attention to it. Is it possible that Erra really died during the Old War on Lua, and this Erra is not real, but made by Ballas?
either that, or an eternalism swap with a different erra (even though that should've logically destroyed him for the same reason the tenno beams did)
It makes sense, creating another Erra just for the purpose of deceiving Natah into the war and getting rid of the Tenno.
Before Wisp prime, I had to do it for the helminth, and boy that got painfully boring
Enjoyed watching this live! Excited to get to it myself eventually haha
😂😂😂 I’m sorry but the boulder was hella funny asf 💀
From re watching these misions one can re learn some things that in the 1st playthrough are so confusing. The ONE thing that is never clear to me is the hierarchy we are working with here. What's with the "lets have Ballas chained and also transformed into sentient?" It seems to me an Orokin, that would praise their beauty, would not do that.
he was already stabbed, and his ego eclipsed even his flesh
Hey kiddo cameo at 28:57
Unfortunately not, it's a deco statue of his Umbra sliding or sitting. You can see it earlier, but I almost thought the same.
Loved the Chimera Prologue for the New War, but I love the promotional video they had for The new war more.
This comment is exactly how I feel, word for word, thank you for saving me all the typing :)
@@EepyGirlLava All good, I love typing. 🥰
DE is also slightly bad at writing, pacing, and communication, in a way that blends nicely with the times their ambiguity is intentional
@@quantumblauthor7300 Yea strangely their earlier imperfections in writing added to the ambiguity in ways I like a lot
@@quantumblauthor7300Still better than bungie lol

How did he do 'chains' and not know about *spoiler*?

9:50 And the man in the wall controlling it all 🎉😂😂9:50
Dude I had no idea there was a boss fight on Jupiter that had to do with this prologue. At least I know of it’s existence now and not after completing The New War
You get the booty frame parts from the boss, aka Wisp
Push out another episode, want to see your reaction to the new war
He never experienced the random "hey kiddo" jumpscare walkinf around the orbiter?
Did anyone in stream tell him that’s Wally mocking Ballas for wanting this, and laughing to the Tenno for playing into it?
8:22 Now you about to meet the actual best frame between the two😂😂 8:22
tomorrow is gonna go so hard
he already did the new war by now I'm sure, but I hope he gets to try an eidolon hunt too. That's a pretty fun boss
I hope his chat was just all, "Rap, tap, tap, tap..."
I need to see your reaction to the new war it is probably my favorite mission in the whole game.

I am so hype to see the next quest
I have always been confused by this first scene
Watching this again and he mentions jade light. Was he referring to the warframe, they sent jade to kill marguilis?
He doesn't know about Wally? Ooo boy :3
3:00 not he is not, those look more like sentient parts. He is half sentient as they enslaved him.
Are the sentient so stupid they ALL travelled through the void in spite they KNEW that would leave them barren? They didn't left some behind so they could reproduce?
Aare you confused? Well don't worry, you will be more confused later on.
some dude is putting spoilers in comments btw , in case there's a viewer who hasn't completed the quest yet
WE EATIN GOOOOD
Still waiting tos ee him do the Call of the Tempestarii Questline. Tried going through his streams on Twitch but couldnt find it
I just hear to say that I REALLY want to watch this video but Im not caught up enough and dont want spoilers
What amp are you using it looks really strong
It’s so lame that they removed the requirement for the second prologue part. When it released you had to encounter a sentient anomaly in railjack and shatter the crystal in their ship before you could access the prologue
my man still don't get the other you is then man in the wall
been watching you since you started but i havent done the new war and the later quests yet :/
