Birds are the second biomarker; bees are the first biomarker.
Killing insects and using pesticides on crops are destroying their food supply. How many insects are killed by automobiles? Why do we not have fast efficient High Speed Rail to travel between great distances and electric cars to get about town?
There are noticeably fewer birds in the UK. Sparrows, once so common to see, are now rarely seen. I am over 60.

Just build more bird houses and more flower pots for the bees for both to return.
