Always one of the best broadcasts and thank you for sticking out the weather and the hour! Great reporting and analysis, and worth the nickel! ~Go Irish
Be careful what you ask for. If we’re just going to select based on who a team plays; then get ready for the Big 10/SEC Invitational tournament. They’ll always have the best SOS based on basic conference games. IU got lucky with the schedule since they’re typically a weak team. IU deserved this more than a 3 loss Alabama did. I’m concerned about the precedent basing selection on who someone plays would set. Schedules are set sometimes years in advance (at least partially). No one knows how strong an opponent will be until we’re in the moment. What if A&M, Navy, and Army were horrible this year? Would ND deserve a berth? (And yes, I’m an ND fan)
You're wrong Indiana belonged in the playoff. Notre Dame doesn't belong outside of the top 4 seeds. The committee thought they were screwing Notre Dame over with that conference champion bye b.s and simple minded people who can't think for themselves went right along with that narrative. Indiana just suffered more because of the committee than Notre Dame ever would when Notre Dame is a top 4 team in the country. Now Georgia has to suffer by having their first game in a month against a Notre Dame team that should be a semi final or championship match up and a Notre Dame team that will be essentially coming off a bye week in a college season and also hasn't gone a month without knowing the kind of physicality that only comes from a live game that matters.
@@coachhumph5524 Great take. I’m over the “who did they play narrative”. When ND had Florida State scheduled this year; that was supposed to be a big game (since undefeated 2023). How could anyone know they would go 2 and 10 this year until it happened? All I team can do is play the games on their schedule. You can’t eliminate a team’s chance of making the playoffs based on how the other teams on their schedule do. How did they do versus who they played is the only objective marker. I mean all of this within reason of course. If Bama schedules Northwood Community Bible College for a football game, then yeah we’ll adjust. 😂
As always great stuff
You guys do a great job! Thank you!

ND 100% needs a healthy Mills to have a chance against UGA.
love JBs analogy about filing the deed at the court house in the 4th quarter. lol
Loved the game, even garbage time. Was never in doubt.
Beau Collins has a double digit football IQ
That is unnecessary.
No it's not snowflake ❄️@@dashx1103
Yea Collins is soft. They need to take him out the game plan
In 7 minutes and 59 seconds of playing time, the Irish have touchdowns of 99, 100 and 98 yards. That has to be a first
What are you talking about, it wasn't pretty. That was gorgeous.
That defensive holding pemalty on Clark was total BS.
IU did not belong in this game…bad selection by the playoff committee!

@ the results of the game speak for themselves…embarrassing and ugly!
@ I agree…still, IU was not qualified for this….the fault is still with the selection process!!
