That would also work great using scotch-bright pads if you make the disks a bit bigger, nice work, hand made always works better than having to buy them. :)

That's a great idea. I've often been frustrated at the cost of buying replacements (for my Dremel) - the scotch-brite pads do a good job but don't last long.

While we are talking about make things, when you use the typical 2" angle grinder sanding disks of any grit, when the edges are worn and don't work anymore, cut them down to 1" disks and they will work like new again. Of course you will need a 1" disk holder, but it works. And I found that cutting them down is so easy on a bench grinder from the back side of them...

You are my technical icon. I wish you to take up bike engines and restore. Since engines are having much more mechanism including paint removing process and final paint finishing process.

I have a question, what's the name of that tool(brand, model)? I have an old bulky one and I'm looking to buy one that's smaller and newer

Hello my good boy! What brand "polishing/drilling/hobby tool" is the one shown in the video? I use a Dremel brand hobby tool, but you need to use a wrench to secure the collet. Yours looks more convenient. Cheers!

Based on what I could find on Google, it appears to be a Minimo V112H
