I bought this bike 2 months ago, ridden 3000 kms here is my review : Engine as always great! 10/10 Gearbox could’ve been better 8/10 Clutch is a bit had but loose aakam 8.5/10 Exhaust. No comments 10/10 Suspension is a bit stiff enna thonunne but I ride in Bangalore so. 7.5/10 Tyres as mentioned is not great. It does not give stability nor confidence in braking from high speeds. 6/10 Braking is not satisfactory. As strell mentioned it is beginner friendly but the bike goes to non beginner friendly speeds. Bite is inadequate and the stopping power is too. I don’t know if it is a tyre issue but the braking is not upto mark considering the speeds this bike can go. 6/10 Heating ind but if I can manage it with normal clothing then anyone can. 8/10 Pinne regarding changes. Alloys are always welcome whatever anyone says regarding looks, oru punture vanna avade tanne irikum. Function >> form. Led headlights are great, much better than halogen. Lastly blacked out paint scheme is visually appealing but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Mileage is subjective but I got 30 in highway at 100kmph speeds and around 21-22 ( post 1st service ) in Bangalore city traffic. Overall this bike is excellent and it’s purely a decision of the heart buy. Talakki veli ulle oraal orikkalum 4.11 lakhs koduthu ee bike city ilu odikan medikilla. But the beauty of this bike is revealed only when u ride other bikes. You’ll always feel like coming back to this bike.

Other reason is the very poor low end torque combined with the vibrations of the bike. I would be in city traffic and the bike would stall in 2nd gear which was a big no for me. Lastly the look and feel. I've always been a retro fan and the interceptor feels far more premium and looks more mature than the 390 ( Ofcourse this is just my opinion ).
Barcelona blue use cheyuva, mine was the 1st alloy wheel model in kerala, Kottayam registration. some cons are there, like u cant go on bad roads , the bike since being heavy will derail if u stumble upon small stones and lifting it up on the go is a humongous task. 2nd con is pillion footrest, they will hut the riders legs if someone resting foot on them. 3rd con - fuel cap is removable, it shud have been attached. 4th con- fuel injection is not on par with japanese bikes, there is a delay in acceleration most of the cold start times, consider the twin engine it shud rocket out on any rev . 5th con- seat ! narrow and hard like bench 😂 pros- beast ! no comparison in looks, its the god of retro bikes, the stance combined with big front disc brakes gives chills .... Its very stable , minor bumps n undulations go unnoticed due to weight. good acceleration and braking. except u need to master the weapon .... in lame hands its utter disaster 😅

Expected huge complaints from ur side. On RE. It’s always I felt value for money. I’m using this more than 3 years. Apart from seat comfort everything is good. 💯 value for money. Seat manageable. not to hard to manage. Maintaining very easy pocket friendly. Guys who planing for this u can go. It’s not a modern bike it’s a classic retro. Best in market with price range.

I am owning this bike 2021 model. If you want a hassle free riding dont opt Any Royal enfiled.Positive thing about this bike is that twin cylinder and its ride feel. You will face frequent problems such as Fuel pump issues, meter console issues, battery issues, ABS sensor malfunction, RR unit issues within few kilometers.You will be constantly communicating with service centre and consume lots of time. You will always have fear while taking this to trips i got break down especially two times in a solo trip. The tyres are very bad no grip and low confidence on highspeeds and on highway white lines. Above 80kmph you will feel wobbling so in order to control you will have to exert more pressure on the handle bar which causes wrist pain and suspension is unpredictable and poor . Final verdict You can choose purely for that engine and if you're willing to face the reliability issues... Otherwise if you have a budget go for Honda twins...
